I just got one as a gift and it is wide open on both ends ... how does one wear this as a hat ?

One end is a little narrower or tighter. I pull it down around my neck like a scarf. I have long hair. I gather my hair into pony tail and pull it through . Pull hat up then adjust . Works for me. Cooler than a knit hat. Although one guy called me Aunt Jemima.

I love this hat, but when it was new it was twisted, and now seems less twisted. How do I get the extra twist back?

I haven't been able to get the twist back after washing it. It doesn't look like a hat anymore now that it is open on both ends. I might sew the top end up and just wear it that way.

Is the stretchy and thin enough to wear over hair curlers overnight?
