Sharp R982STM Combination Microwave Oven, 42 Litre capacity, 1000W, Stainless Steel

This is ideal for our Church. We we’re having an event on at our Church with food. I had cooked food before hand and reheated it in the microwave. Perfect results. Someone mentioned in their review that there isn’t a setting for potatoes but there is. There are several pre programmed settings. The instructions are minimal but I managed to work out how to use this. It’s also a great size.

This was a replacement for my old Sharp combi oven which went to that great kitchen in the sky. It was a workhorse which handled everything thrown at it, or into it. This is similar, the layout and controls are pretty identical, the only difference is this one seems to be allergic to going above 180oC. Yes it'll reach 200oC eventually, but by that stage the kids have got fed up and contacted Just Eat with your credit card and Hubby has gone down the chippy. The microwave works well enough and the oven itself is as big as you could possibly want unless you're feeding the entire street, but everytime I see a pizza that needs cooked at 190oC my heart sinks, and I contact Just Eat with my kids credit card.

Our old Sharp, Jet Convection combination microwave, finally gave up on the microwave part of it! As we had it for years, with perfect reliability, and multiple functions, we decided to go for another Sharp. It's not got as many functions, nor has it got Jet Convection, but it fitted our current requirements, plus it was reasonably priced! Delivery was very quick! Only thing we don't really like is the controls. They are quite complex, and the writing under the activation buttons are quite hard to read. Apart from that, everything else is good

Oven is incapable of reaching on a regular basis any temp above 180 deg C. It'll get to around 200/220 and then the indicator starts to go down. VERY unreliable. The microwave seems OK. The grill does not work well with the supplied trivet, we retained the trivet from a previous Sharp unit. Menu system comprehensive if a little confusing at times. On reflection NOT A GOOD BUY.

Not used it yet but this is big and looks great, good price. I did reviews and this one kept on coming up. It plate is massive so will take anything you put in it

Don't really understand what sheerness has to do with a microwave but it is an excellent product. Cooking and microwaving is as good as the one it replaced.

Stylish Works well , a little slow to reach max convection temperature.Grill fine My only gripe is the is the one piece rack(reversible) no way can you put a wide dish on the low rack,Sharp always used two in the past,low and high this was better,i shall just buy a spare low rack.The service from Reliant Direct was superb .
