They can easily be taken down seasonally if necessary. Shade sails are the ultimate in stylish sun protection. You can creatively design your own little shady area in a courtyard, pool, gardens, children's play areas, car spaces, and even entry ways. The heavy duty Polyethylene weave allows rain to pass through, so there is no pooling water. This unique state-of-the-art mesh material will block up to 90% of the sun's UV rays, while "breathing" to allow air to circulate and keep the environment underneath much cooler. The perimeter of each sail is designed with a gentle centenary curve inwards toward the center of the sail to control the fabric tension. Our shade sails have reinforced webbing around the perimeter, and steel D or "Delta" rings at each corner. When properly tension-ed, shade sail fabric will not wrinkle, sag, or flap in the wind. The woven polyethylene material will keep you cool and out of the hot sun. This unique state-of-the-art material will block the sun and UV rays, and will withstand damages caused by moisture and natural temperature extremes. Washable with regular soap and water. Heavy duty design will not droop or sag and completely durable through all seasons.

Great sail for the price! Will buy again.
Going on two years and could not be happier! Word to the wise, I initially set this sail up with 3 points on the house and one 4"x4"x16' post (with 3' buried into the ground with concrete). After a few months, the 4x4 snapped in a bad storm. I decided that kind of stress was not good on the house so I opted for 6x6 posts at all 4 corners. The 6x6s have held up all year with no problems. One improvement I made this year was to install a metal wire between two of the opposite corners. Without the wire, the sail will sag during hard rain.I thought (for this price) the sail would only last a couple years, but at this rate, it will last for 4-5 (at least).

Very Pleased - Made our Deck Livable in Sunny Weather
This really transformed the way we use our deck in the summer. We get full sun from 10-7 during much of the summer and the deck is too hot to enjoy. The hardest part was placing one post in super-packed clay. I tied into other post already present for the other (a 38" post, part of the deck support that is also used for deck railing by attaching a 7' post to it - it really didn't look bad or out of place). It takes some adjusting and readjusting as the material stretches but now after 4 months I think it's done. I've only dropped it once during a storm front. It's held up very well. I wish I could get some of the wrinkles out but they're not super noticeable.

Perfect solution for sun and heat!
For the past few years we have been searching for a solution to the tremendous afternoon summer sun the front of our house gets. Short of permitting a big expense for a front porch roof addition I came across this sun shade. We still get just the right amount of sun filtering through but the oppressive heat is no longer an issue. It has also made the front of the house feel like an extra living space we weren’t able to enjoy previously. We did also add galvanized wire through each side in order to make the shade sturdier and less susceptible to wind gusts. Wish I had found this sooner!

PATIO PARADISE!!!!
For the price, you can't beat the quality. It took a while to figure out how to get it to not sag. But once up, we added lights and viola! Patio paradise! And when I say "we" I really mean my husband;)

Awesome product that really transforms your outside space
The thing is such a value. Added it to my deck which is usually not usable after about 10 am when the sun peaks the house due to heat. This provides a perfect amount of shade. It’s been up over a year now and has withstood wind and rain without any issues. Easy to install. I do suggest choosing an size that’s about 12-20 inches shorter that what you need and get you some good turnbuckles at the hardware store. Also get some eye bolts and lots of S hooks to connect everything. Make sure to fully extend the turn buckles, hook everything up, and then start tightening down. You’ll have to tighten everything further after it rains for the first time.Don’t miss this great product.

Beat the Heat
This is our 2nd purchase. It’s very well made and a great product for beating the summer heat. Here’s a pic of our back deck. I used to largest fabric to draped the clear plastic awning to help reduce the heat by at least 8 -10 degrees.I used my first purchase to drape the skylight windows in our kitchen - keeping the house nice and cool when temps reach 92degrees.

Doesnt hold up well in inclement Weather (wind + rain) and Sags with No Recovery
Horrible shade that sags and stretches when wet with no recovery after adjustments. Very permeable so doesn't protect you from rain. It will all fall upon you. The seams appear to be done ok. Looked ok upon install and horrible after a few rainy days. Shade adjusted yet still saggy. It was installed last week and already poor quality.
