I have to say this kit is absolutely amazing. It came with everything I needed to replace my entire screen assembly. It works like a charm. I do think I may have broke my fingerprint reader though. My doing not the kit

Can't access multiple apps with out the phone completely freezing up. You have to power off or use the Bixby button to go back to the home screen. Using apps like Google chrome, YouTube and some others freeze up just after scrolling. The stock photo album also freezes up. So far the Samsung internet app is the only thing that works as an alternative to these other apps. Luckily the screen works enough to go trade it in... with that being said save your money and buy something else or use it just to get another phone on a trade in. I was hoping this would work so i didnt have to get another phone but the constant freezing and and my voice sounding faded on calls makes this phone useless. I shouldn't have ignored other reviews 😂Also the box was nice came with tweezers, double sided adhesive, suction cup, rubber bands, screw driver, protective screen cover and cloth

It's says not recommended for non professionals but I rather try and I'm glad I did all it takes is a little patience which I have plenty! It was really easy with help of utube an saved $85 by doing it my self

the only reason to purchase this replacement screen is to retrieve data off the phone after damage which is exactly why I bought this instead of a $100 used genuine Samsung screen. needless to say I didn't expect much.Its been 24 hours since the repair. While the screen is working, the LCD quality is noticeably worse than phones from 5 years ago, I can practically see each pixel. it is not as bright as the oem screen. most of all this does not have to hole for the proximity/light sensor. this results in the loss of automatic brightness, tap to wake. and accidental touch protection (when the screen is on in the total darkness your pocket is will not allow any touch commands) and the always on display ( a black screen that shows the time and notification icons before waking the screen). I'm baffled that they made a cut out for the fingerprint sensor but not something as vital as the proximity sensor. If you have this, test it yourself. go to the dialer, input *#0*# to enter the diagnostic screen and check the sensors. proximity and light will always read 0. on the last photo you will see it says "virtual proximity sensing: release" that is because it thinks it is currently being covered.to conclude , do not purchase this as a permanent fix, only to restore functions until you get a new device. My A53 will be in a drawer as a emergency back-up device. I only gave 3 stars cause it worked for what I wanted and is cheaper than oem for that purpose. You get what you pay for.

Easy to install, just needed to purchase some glue to hold battery in place. Phone works but can tell it's not original quality.

Quality wasn't Great, Screen pops out and so therefore it doesn't fit on my case anymore... I dropped my phone recently and the whole front part of the screen came off tearing the FPC cable. It was a very short-distance drop and the reason why it broke was because this screen didn't allow for the case (Otterbox) to do its job
