Durable Brass Nozzles - Still Great After 17 Months
I've been using these AUTOMAN brass hose nozzles for a solid 17 months now (since around December 2023), and they are holding up exactly as expected. The material appears to be genuine brass. After this extended period of outdoor use, they have naturally developed some patina (a bit of 'copper rust'), which is normal for brass and confirms their solid metal construction.Most importantly, I've experienced no leaks or functional issues whatsoever. The key difference compared to the plastic pistol-grip type nozzles is clear: because these are solid brass with no internal plastic parts, they feel incredibly durable and seem like they will last practically forever without breaking. Simple, effective, and built tough.

Impressive quality
for such an inexpensive nozzle. The one it's replacing cost more and made of cheap plastic and started leaking everywhere. The Automan does everything I need and feels pretty sturdy. If it lasts one season, it'll be worth it.

High quality hose
Just bought two of them. I’m unsure how long they last, but out of the box, this is an excellent hose. It’s has many different spray options, the trigger has good feel (might be hard for some people to keep pressed down, but it’s high quality), and the pressure is strong. I had a leak with one of the two, but they include extra o-rings (the o-ring installed was slightly defective).

Well built, jet spray!
Works very well, built strong and gives a powerful jet spray, better than any plastic nozzle.

Excellent spray pattern BUT didn't last
The shower spray pattern the Automan Metal garden Nozzle Sprayer was far reaching with fine droplets. It provided water for my plants without beating them into the ground. It was a great nozzle but it didn't last. The mechanism that moves the trigger in and out seized in the on position. So there was no stopping the water other than turning it off at the faucet. This results in a lot of wasted water. It was kept outside, protected from rain, but it was exposed to the sun. The suns heat, expanding and contracting the metal construction took its toll.
