So far so good
We bought this to use over and around our pool pump in Southern AZ. Been up for about a week and has survived a couple of monsoon storms. Nothing has ripped and it keeps the pump in the shade.

Great quality for the price
I purchased the tan 6x10 sunsail and I am quite impressed with the quality for the price. It blocks UV rays excellently and is of quality construction. My only qualms are that the only mounting hardware is some string (we purchased a kit off Amazon, see photos) and that it isn’t 6ft across all the way. It’s 6ft from hook to hook but curves inward as you can see in the photo. We went for the longer option to have it hang down some to block the southern summer sun. Water will puddle on it under heavy rain. When you tighten it there is still some flex to it and time will tell if the color holds up to the sun.

Good hardware. Barely makes advertised size.
I like the hardware rings on the corners for hanging it up. I dropped a star because the only way it is actually the size advertised is when it is stretched to the absolute max and then barely makes the size at the outside of the rings. Still works for my space so overall happy with it.

Love mine!
Heavy duty shade but not "heavy". I love mine. The second day hanging I found its true size it just needed time to hang and then I tightened it up. Perfect! Also true to color.

Easy to install and provides great shade over my deck
Great , perfect for over my grill, but you need to have it at least 8’ up as heat rises.

Shade and style
This has been a lifesaver for my houseplants I put on the deck for the summer. They need the shade from the hot sun. And the beautiful red adds just the right amount of color to my deck

Pleased
Just installed. Looks pretty good. Im happy with the colour. Wish it had slightly better coverage on the edges. Reviews said it would stretch out so if thats the case, I can tighten it and get a bit more coverage then. My pergola is 16x16, canopy is 12x12.

Does exactly what I need, I just needed to problem solve creatively to install correctly.
My wife and I have wanted to build a small deck off our back doors for years. Still can’t afford that, but this inexpensive sun shade gives us part of what we’re looking for: shade on our back doors and over our patio area in the evenings. Easy to install. Key things: ensure your anchor points are about 1’ or more away from the corner of the canopy, in all directions. So for the 8x12 canopy, install the anchor points at roughly 10x14, or greater. This gives you enough room to pull it taut. Do not use the rope provided. Instead, use a small metal cable with a with a wire crimp (see photo), attached with metal carabiners, to attach the canvas to the anchors. You’ll need to purchase this separately at Canadian Tire or something. The cable will need to be cut with a metal grinder, a saw or wire cutters won’t work. Estimate the length you’ll need for each anchor, then just make the first one and install it. Pull it as taut as possible, then measure for each subsequent anchor before creating your cable lengths/loops. On your final two cables/anchors, be sure to measure the length of the turnbuckles when they are maxed out in length, and adjust the length of your cables accordingly. This will allow you to stretch it further in case they’re loose. Ensure you have a healthy slope on it. Also ensure the screws for your anchors hit solid wood and are secure. Also try to centre the canvas between your anchors hit solid points, it looks better that way. I didn’t read instructions before installing, and I had to move my anchors a few times, and cut more cable lengths to ensure it was installed correctly. Hopefully by following these instructions you will save yourself some time, and not have holes to patch in your own siding.
