I just start using this laser for a couple of weeks. So if you want Engraving, Cut or Craftsman. I recommend this laser. Trust me, you don't going to regret it, in the end, you be surprised what you can do with it, your imagination is the limit in the end is a good Investment. If you don't know how to use it. Trust me in a couple of weeks, you'll be a professional.It's so easy to use and learn You can use your computer or you can use app on your phone to operate it. Love my machine. If I could have waited I would have saved up for the f1 Ultra. Better for actual metal engarving and a smart camera to make things easier. But this machine i was to setup and get going the day I got it and was able to complete all my orders in time.

This laser is super fun to use. I do wish I would have gotten the S1 or M1 Ultra over this, mostly for size purposes.The IR laser can do a very very shallow engraving on stainless steel, aluminum and brass but takes quite a bit of time. Especially compared to a regular fiber laser.The diode laser is where this machine shines. Especially because it's portable. It cuts thin wood, engraves wood nicely and marks anodized aluminum.Portraits come out amazing on this machine.The software has a nice polish to it, but it's lacking a lot (like the ability to do variable text). You're limited to how many passes you can do, it even limits lines per millimeter. This machine is lightburn compatible so I have ended up ditching XCS all together with this machine.Overall good for casual hobbiests, but after a few months this machine mostly sits on my shelf in favor of more powerful/compatible machines.

It said it can engrave any metals but the settings does not include gold plated. The system says it is not available so you have to waste all kinds of products just trying to figure out what works. What works on one item might not work on another item either. Return policy stated we have 30 days to return but when you click to return it after already purchasing it, it says if used then they only give you 50% back if even. It will be based off the condition which in some ways I understand but in others how can you advertise it does all this engraving and cutting when there is no setting for it and a waste of so much materials and money. The return policy should state upfront right away if used in any way or open any bags, you won’t get full refund. When I try to cut wood it makes a fire and shuts off. I wasted so much wood. The filter fills up fast. I have tried this machine for less than a month and it wants me to replace filter already. It cost $109 to get new filter stuff. I read that we can wash it to get more life out of it which I did. Even with the air filter my room still smells like burnt wood. It’s not the easiest to line things up if you need it exactly in the middle for small items like jewelry. And if it is your first time like me using an engraver, to engrave on certain items you will need to buy an expensive spray to coat like glass or stainless steel in order for it to turn out. All the items I purchased this for is not working out and getting half my money back sucks so now I am just going to stick with it and see what I can do out of it to try and make money to pay for it. I am starting to realize now that all the YouTube I watched about the machine before I bought it they all got the machine for free from xtool so they obviously would say it’s amazing. So beware and don’t be like me. It’s not made out to be as amazing as you think it is.

I've been playing around with this ever since it arrived. Was supposed to be a Sunday delivery and it took til Tuesday night with the annoying delays. Happy with the laser. It's my first laser. The software is easy to learn, the material testing is a must for beginners, it is included in the software so don't go spending money on etsy selling material testing files. Just go to the mode you want to do and insert an array and select material testing. This way you figure out the power and speed you should run the machine to engrave or cut or score best on the material you are using. It can cut through thin 1/8th inch plywood at 4 mm/sec and 100% power. I've been cutting shapes out of amazon shipping boxes too. Possibilities are endless and watching the machine do its work is a lot of fun, especially in the score mode, because it does things fast in that mode. Buy one, teach your young ones how to use it and create things. Just one thing, Never leave the machine unattended while its working. Materials can flame up and catch fire if you have the wrong settings. I'm happy with my purchase. Now placed an order for their P2 machine as well. Going to come in handy building my patch displays.

Its a good laser for general marking. My primary use was business cards, laser engraved photos and keychains. I upgraded to the F1 ultra not long after getting the F1. I still use it while the F1 ultra is busy with the heavier work.Overall its a good entry level laser that is very capable for its size, the price is reasonable for a fiber laser, the software is user friendly for the most part. Having both a diode and fiber laser in a single package has its advantages. The size can be a limitation but its good enough for most things.

For the money, it’s good. Engraving area is a little small and I definitely run into some issues where I wish I had more power. Good for a beginner to learn though. Get the air purifier with it so you don’t set off your smoke detectors

I was worried about the learning curve for the software but it was so simple, I regret not buying it sooner. It's very quick at both cutting and engraving. I mostly use it to test designs I create and it's been great.The only drawback I have found is that because it uses a mirror to direct the laser beam, circles of small sizes are oblong in height. It's a perfect circle but the bottom part is not directly lined up with the top, more on an angle. Not a deal breaker but I wasn't aware of this beforehand. Overall I am very satisfied .
