My candles turned out great with this kit! It had everything I needed besides the jar and scent. But definitely great for first time candle makers! I made candles for my clients and friends and family for Christmas! So easy to use too! I put the melting pot inside of a pan of boiling water to make the wax melt and it melted quick and easy!

This was my first time attempting to make candles so I was a little nervous about he process and results. The kit is very well packaged with everything you need for candle making. It's easy and fun! I feel the soy wax is very good quality and the wicks are cotton. I would recommend this kit to beginners like me or anyone who likes to make candles. They turned out beautifully!

This is a great Kit to allow one to learn the process of making candles. I ordered the 5 pound. I started with one pound of wax and one ounce of fragrance to make four 4 oz candles using metal containers from Michaels. So with the kit can make a total of 20 4 oz candles. This is more than enough for my needs. My test candle produced a beautiful burn after a 48 hour cure. I’m going to cure all remaining and future candles for two weeks to maximize scent throw. There is one major challenge that caused my 4 star review. Neither the company name of the wax or the name and size of the wick is provided. This means that it is not possible to reorder supplies if you want to make additional candles and have consistent results. It is important to think carefully about the size and number of candles you want to make prior to ordering the kit.

Very happy with the kit. The measurements are inside the stainless pitcher so I can tell if I need to add more wax. It also fits well into the pot of water with the handle easy to lift from the hot pot. The wicks are good quality. It doesn’t fall into the wax like the wicks I bought from another company. If I can buy more wicks from the maker of this starter kit, I would be happier. The soy wax is also good quality. It burns much longer than candles bought from the store. The wooden sticks to hold up the wicks work out well. I was able to use on most all the containers I used. I used bamboo bbq sticks with the holders for a round bowl.

Impressed with all that came with the kit. This kit was $3 less than a 5 lb. bag of soy wax i almost bought a big name craft store. This is my first time making candles so I can't attest to the quality of the wax. I was looking for wax to make candles to use as party favors for a baby shower. This candle making kit is more than perfect for my needs.
