Fit my Normcore and stock Sage 58mm portafilter just right. I was initially using one as a barrier to the shower head, but now I sandwich the puck. The sandwiching makes portafilter cleaning so much easier and the puck knocks out cleanly. The paper quality is good and it functions exactly as it should. There hasn't been any negative effect on my espresso brews and I have not had to adjust my puck prep other than add the papers. I paid £5.99 for 400 papers. so it works out at around 1.5p per paper which is not bad value for money and worth it for me.

Cheap and well worth using. Keeps espresso machine clean and assists a lot with puck release.

The size isn’t perfect, but good quality

It may only be a piece of paper, BUT? I have a delonghi 685 dedica machine, which has portafilter with 1 & 2 cup pressurised filter baskets. I use pre-ground coffee with a grind specifically for expresso machine. To be honest (as a newbie) a puck screen is virtually not necessary with my set up, as the filter baskets basically do all the work for correct flow/dose rate, etc, and any channelling in the coffee is not really an issue either. But I tried using them just to see if they would make a difference for me? Here's what I found in my case, by using them against not using them: After putting the dose & tamping down, I just a lay a paper filter on top, there is no need to adjust dose amounts to compensate for the thickness of a puck screen, because they filter papers appear to me, to be between about 0 .1 to 0.3 mm so virtually makes no difference in depth. In my case that is 12 gram dose in a 2 cup basket, I then just place the paper filter on top. I noticed When I pour without the paper filter, one spout of the portafilter starts just a fraction before the other. With the paper filter on top of the puck, both spouts start together? There is no alterations or any effect to the flow, consistency, taste or anything else, to my mind? With the paper on top, the shower screen remains clean with no coffee deposits. This also makes me think that if there were any deposits/debris in the water coming from the shower screen this would also be stopped by the paper filter entering the coffee puck? Then, I find that when disposing of the used puck, it comes out cleanly not in bits, no mess. For the small cost of these paper filters it definatley seems to make for cleaner working. I would also like to add, that from my observation & perspective, although it isnt obviously noticable or provable, there must be a little help & correction in channelling of water through the coffee via the shower screen? To me, as an unqualified layman: The holes in the paper must be virtually microscopic as compared to the a hole directly on top of coffee puck from the shower screen? So instead of a minute stream of water via one hole of the shower screen, the paper filter must offer more of a soaking through evenly ( just my way of thinking, but there you go? I will always use these with my home coffeee machine and I think if I were doing it professionally I would still use them?I would recomend them to any home brewer, to give it a try first?

Not disappointed at all. These fit just right in the type of basket you'd use with (for example) a Sage Bambino (/Plus). They were the cheapest I could find at the time, so it's nice to find that the quality is great. Nice thickness and texture to them. No off-white discolouration. Used as a liner at the bottom of the basket, they've improved my espresso shots (I guess as less fines getting through = less bitterness). And make for much easier cleanup: the whole puck comes out in one, with the paper attached. The base, where the holes are, is left completely clean. No real need to even rinse the basket, if you're pulling another shot right after. Just go again, and only rinse at the very end, to get rid of any invisible oils. Top marks. You can buy these. They're good.

Must have for any serious coffee lover... 1. It keeps the group head clean. Saves clogging and the associated mess of wet coffee grinds. 2. For my taste it gives me a more even extraction. No channelling. I won't make a coffee without these papers top & bottom of my puk. End of.

Very small filters. Bought to go in my Aeropress but far too small to use.

Not as advertised, not suitable for Aeropress; they're the wrong size.

I bought these filters to filter out cafestol. Very thin filters, fit my normcore 20gr basket perfectly. Without filter the normcore basket (which has a very fine mesh) would clog up a bit with ground coffee after a shot. With these filters it comes out much cleaner. So the filters are perfect, unbleached and affordable enough.
