OwalaFreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Straw for Sports and Travel, Leak Proof, BPA-Free, 710ml, Foggy Tide

When my son put 'Owala water bottle' on his christmas list & i saw they were £30-£40 I thought 'what is this lunacy! It's a water bottle!' ... and here I am to ... drink my wordsHe didn't get one for christmas but, I spotted this one on amazon for £22 (at that time) & hit buy now.As it turned out, I bought the mid size & he really wanted the larger so I was all set to send this one back but, he was grateful & said it was fine.He wanted me to try drinking from it so I'd appreciate what all the hype was and well... dear readers, I didn't give that bottle back.Instead, I ordered him the bigger one and kept this one for myself.The spout is beautifully shaped in a way that's much more natural to drink from than any other I've seen.The sip element is far superior because there's no tiny air hole (which facilitates leaks in other bottles) which means you have to really suck on the straw. With Owala, water glides up with gentle force because your air hole is the big plug spout.I've washed the straws and lids in the dishwasher multiple times and they are fine.I've only handwashed the actual bottles because they take up a lot of room in my already packed dishwasher but, they feel like they'd probably withstand it as the paint feels sort of rubberised - not like a thin layer that will peel off as on other cheaper bottles.The lid lock also doubles as a carry handle and the whole thing feels sturdy and durable and it lives up to all the hype!I've never drank so much water since getting this bottle.My one and only complaint is that I'd love to buy spare/extra lids, straws and the silicone boots directly from the Owala website but, £18 in p&p and added taxes from USA is a LOT!

Arrived on time with no scratches, no chips in the water bottle. Perfect quality just as displayed on the photos a little bit expensive but very much worth the money would highly recommend to anyone

Great water bottle, what is a present for my friend and he loves it!

I put off getting a stainless bottle for ages to take to the gym and on long hikes. I like to think I know quality so paid for it with this and it does NOT disappoint, it’s brilliant from the carrying handle to the either suck or chug option. I only put water in it and years of plastic bottles use there is no other taste other than ice cold fresh water every drink.

This is the perfect size for me to carry every day, and has the best built in straw function on the market allowing you to use the straw or use it as a normal cup without needing to change anything. Feels hard wearing and was good value for money.The lid has a rubberised material on it which does pick up marks over time. Not an issue for me but may bother some people.Unfortunately mine has a very slight leak through the threads where the lid screws on to the bottle. Only very minor & this is a that stops this from being perfect.

The bottle is great. It is easy to drink. I feel like the water even becomes chilled after a while.

Brilliant piece of kit - a shame it is no bigger but then it wouldn’t be so convenient

love it! my new everyday water bottle. its so worth the price and such a handy thing to have. keeps my water cold for ages, doesnt leak, and has a handy straw + “chug hole”!
