Can the led bulb be changed for a non color changing led? a bulb that doesn't strobe?

I don't see why not, it's just a matter of finding a bulb of the same type, in clear. I would either check with the company if they have access to a clear one, or go to some place like Fry's Electronics, or look online. Either way, the Stirling Engine is a really cool toy to have!

What is the difference between the red and non red modles offered? It lists the max rpms of one beign 2200 to 2400 and the other being 1400 to 1600?

It looks like a glass piston in the silver model and an aluminum piston in the Red version.

What is the Wick material made out of? is it non toxic

doesn't have a wick on motor just in little bottle and would have no idea jujst a cotton one i guess
