Crimped too tightly to accept pins.
Very disappointed in these. They are crimped to tightly and do not fit on a Raspi, an LED, or other pins. I tried opening them up a little using a tool and it didn't work.

These work very well and the price is right
I needed the 4 inch to wire a Raspberry Pi to a miniature momentary switch so I can reset the Pi from the box without needing to remove the power cable. I put 2 pins on the reset contacts of the Pi and was going to cut the ends on the other side so I can solder the switch. Turns out that these will accommodate the thicker contacts of the switch so I did not need to use the solder iron and that saves time as I have to make quite a dew of these. I also have many other applications for them including peripheral devices that use the I2C interface for the Pi and Arduino. In any case, I like to have the 4" and the 8" in my jumper wires drawer because I never know when I am going to need a few and I like that I can just pill off a bundle of the amount of wires I need and use them in seconds.

Perfect Fit & Application
So I'm building an electronic clock from HeathKit - updated from the one I built in the 70s. And it calls for cutting a four-inch six wire ribbon, tinning the ends and soldering both ends to both the display and control boards. I did this once, and decided the next kit needs some ease in this step. Voila, the GenBasic 80 Piece male-male and female-female (4-inch & ~ 8-inch) not only were the right lengths, they also followed the standard color codes. Just Great! With an additional purchase of break-away PCB headers, these were the perfect fit - great utility, because troubleshooting is much easier, as may be needed.

Work great to connect peripherals to arduino shield
I am constantly building Arduino projects. Most of them have some external devices connected to an Arduino shield. I use these for the connections. It is easy to separate several wires from the bundle to make the connections. The only change I would like to see is a black and red wire next to each other for power and ground.

If you need jumpers, these will do the job
No complaints. Obviously, treat them with care as the jst connectors aren't meant for constant connect/disconnect use... I've had some have connection issues after extensive used, but that's expected. They are cheap, just use strip the ends when it happens and use them for jumper wire and use a new one.

Useful for Arduino-scale projects
These are great things to have around if you are into building household projects using an Arduino like or Raspberry Pi like mini-processor. You can use them to prototype and/or for the final project. These are just wires with a female slot at one end and a female slot at the other. These are perfect for connecting male pins to male pins on various sensor and actuator cards.I bought one of these, a female to male and a female to female set of these connectors just to have around, and I've used a surprising number of them.

They look nice and feel sturdy, but they are not copper on the inside
Just be aware, these wires are in fact magnetic.I had three wires hooked up between two Raspberry Pis. The audio out of headphone jack was presenting a lot of interference on one headset. When I switched them out for premium jumper wires from MicroCenter, which cost me 3x what these did, the audio problems went away!So if your use is simple like maybe just some buttons etc, these will probably work. But if you are getting weird results using them, spend some more money and get real wires.

Handy set to have!
These are hardly little jumpers to have around! Using for pin outs on a cnc control board and they work really well and I haven’t had any issues with electrical noise so far while using them.
