Works well with Hioki Tester, durability yet to be seen over time

I got these for current testing. They work great and fit my regular multimeters. I connect them across the meter's voltage terminals, and feed 1A through the other two banana plugs (current-limited power supply and a 0.5 ohm resistor in series). This makes 1V = 1 ohm. With a 0.1mV-precision meter this can measure down to 0.0001 ohms. A thick screwdriver measures 0.0008 ohms. This setup can be useful to find shorts on a PCB, check gauge of wires, etc. It greatly exceeds the precision of my LCR meter. To make them fit on the meter I used the two edge plugs, +V on the right and 10A on the left (10A internally connects to COM via a thick wire, so it's equivalent when measuring voltage). This leaves room to connect power supply to banana plugs hanging over edge of meter. Leads are sturdy. Reasonably flexibility. Coiled section is pretty snug, requires good force to stretch. Overall length is 6 feet. 0.73" spacing between banana plugs (4mm type, fit most meters). Ends can be unscrewed for maintenance or repair. Takes 1 lb. of force to engage both contacts. Testing resistance, it ranges from 0.106 ohms to 0.160 ohms (black lead is longer, and center leads have more resistance). This works out to about 22 AWG copper wire. Gauge isn't critical for this application since it's a four-point system, where one side carries a known current, and the other side measures voltage with very little current flow.

This is an excellent Kelvin probe that can be used to test battery. It's very long (around 5 or 6 ft) and thick (around 10-12 gauge). It has low resistance (around 0.1 Ohm) It's a little costly but worth it.

The probes and cable are quite large compared to single wire probes, however they are light and the wires very flexible. The terminals match the meter as expected, and the center post of the probe is sprung and makes good contact when the outside contact makes contact with the device under test.
