Worked well, the second time. The first attempt? Not so grand. My cat took advantage of my not having him elevated and went all- Crouching tiger, Kung Fu Kitty on me, with its uncut claws as tiny little razor blades of fury! He gained enough traction to propel himself to the wall, BOUNCE off of it and attach himself to my face like the face hugger from the move -Alien! All the while, carving my face up with the precision of Edward Scissorhands!Once I was Able to detach the demon cat from my unrecognizable face and hoist the spawn of satan to a safe height, the exorcism was a success and his nails were trimmed without any further incident.Lesson learned…. Elevation is the key.

My cat hates having her nails clipped and every time I try it's a struggle, especially for the back. This helps with that making it easier for me. I like the strap that goes around her belly as it prevents her for moving much. One thing I don't like it that the fabric around her neck is short. A longer one would cover her face more and stop her from turning and trying to bite. That's something I would consider if I would buy another one

I have a cat who absolutely hates getting their nails trimmed, so I bought this hammock to help me struggle with it less. She's a slim cat which might be part of my problem but even with the stomach strap she always manages to get some part of her body out of the hammock and then panic more. I am able to clip half her nails before this, which is a big improvement, but I would prefer to have something more secure.All in all, if you have a really fidgety cat this product probably isn't for you.

The product is well made, strong material and it’s washable which we appreciate. Our problem is it is way too small.We bought the size that says it is appropriate for dogs and cats up to 25lbs. Our cats are 10 and 13 pounds, respectively. The harness is WAY too small for them.We need to return and exchange for the larger size to see if that is better. But, unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to out it to use until well outside of our return window. So we now have something we can’t use for our pets.
