Great product. Way better that the ones just made of bungee cord (Those are a waste of time and fall apart quickly). These only have a small elasticated part at the end with the main body being a nylon strap. This means you can adjust it exactly to fit your bin. The clasp for securing the strap over the opening end of the bin lid is made of sturdy plastic and is nice and large enabling easy yet secure usage.

Great little straps that keep the bin lids securely closed. I leave my bins outside in the lane and was fed up of people putting poop bags in them - I got these straps and they act as a great deterrent and stops people from doing this. Expensive for what they are but they do the job perfectly.

Decent once you figure out the ladder lock. I didn't find the videos or leaflet to be useful, as they don't have enough detail.

Same as the straps provided by my local council - easy to install, and has stopped my recycling from going everywhere when the wind has blown the bin over. Waste Crew have no issues in "unlocking".

Love these! If, like me, you live in a windy area and are fed up with having to rescue blown over wheelie bins and chase the contents down the street as the wind whips them away then these are what you need. They are easy to attach, hold the bin lid firmly shut and do the job perfectly. Highly recommended.

These straps do the job once you get used to the plastic mechanism for attaching the strap to the bin. The hooked end seems chunky and has a short elasticated bit attaching it to the strap to aid getting it on/off while the strap is tight. The strap is thin, not heavy duty, but works. I’m not sure how long they will last before the plastic parts deteriorate. Hopefully they will last a reasonable length of time. Although they absolutely do the job I think the price of about £15 is too expensive for the quality of product provided. Other reviews have suggested they might only last about 6 months before failing. If this is the case then I would not spend another £15 for only 6 months of use. It would have to be closer to £7 in that case. Fingers crossed they last much longer..

Love these, keeps the lid closed even when the bin is blown over by the wind

I bought these after an issue with a neighbour putting dog waste in our bin, but they're equally fantastic for preventing rubbish from blowing out in strong winds – something we've experienced on our driveway before, leading to a messy clean-up. Putting these straps on is straightforward and quick, and taking them off for bin collection is just as easy. While they're not going to stop someone going in your bin, it'll certainly deter the opportunistic dog walker. Crucially, they're excellent at preventing animals from getting into the bin and, as mentioned, are a real lifesaver for keeping the lid firmly shut during blustery weather. The quality is pretty much what you'd expect for the price: a sturdy fabric strap with a robust plastic hook. It feels durable enough for regular outdoor use.
