I came across this pitcher when looking for some loose leaf tea. I was excited to receive this item and to try it out. Upon unpackaging the item I noticed that the black rubber seal around the lid did not fit well inside the pitcher itself. It seemed too big and wouldnt fit snugly inside the pitcher. I could move the pitcher side to side and watch the whole lid and infuser shift around wobbly. I was disappointed and wondered if I could live with it and decided to test it out. As I thought it would, since there wasnt a tight fit of the lid, when pouring my tea into the infuser it also got into the pitcher itself rendering the infuser pointless. I had tea leaves in the infuser and floating around in the water and had to strain the tea into another container and back into the pitcher. Needless to say, I returned mine. Save yourself the hassle and find another tea infuser.**UPDATE**The seller contacted me and asked tried to correct the situation before I returned the product. In order to gain satisfaction, they offered that I could keep the tea pitcher and still get a refund. I appreciated the offer and accepted. Then after accepting, they asked if I would change my rating to 5 stars then they would refund me. I did not appreciate trying to haggle me for a better review. They weren't transparent about this the first time, and I did slightly update my review to keep it current but still cannot deem this a 5 star item or transaction.

I like it. For the price not bad and a deep infuser I can run the tea down low and still have it steep. The only reason why not 5 stars is the infuser is HARD to clean out. Like I spend more time doing that than anything else.update So have had this a while. Still not easy to clean infuser when it has loose tea but easy enough with turmeric or ginger. Takes a lot of effort with loose tea. Also the tall pitcher does not have a heavy base so it is way to easy to knock this over when it is empty. A heavier base would help prevent against that. If you have cats you will want to keep this in the cupboard when it is not in use and empty.

Not the best cold brew maker.For one the lid of this jar is not fairly secure enough.I love the mesh for the coffee grounds, however, when making cold brew you have to make sure the ground are not all the way to the top otherwise it would be untouched. It is easier and less mess when I used to do it in jar and strained the grains multiple times.For a beginner this a good start but for someone who drinks cold brew a lot I would find something more useful. The pitcher itself is okay. And have used it for outside coffee use. I feel like this pitcher is nice to use for a picnic where the lid is not to much of a concern

I was looking for something to brew a large pot of tea for making iced tea that does not have any plastic. This pot is perfect, because the gasket never comes in contact with the water. I love the shape of this pot too! It is stable yet sleek. Also, the basket is almost as tall as the pitcher, which means a bigger area for the tea or coffee to come in contact with the water. It makes the best tasting tea. There isn't a thing I dislike or would change about this product! I'm so happy with my choice!

Used for cold brew coffee—worked great! 12 hours on first batch, combined with milk, vanilla simple syrup and ice in glass for tasty treat. Just what I needed during the heat wave. Two issues but neither is a big deal. When using the infuser, you have to add a lot of water to cover the grounds making it impossible to make a concentrate. On my second batch I didn’t use the infuser so I made a more concentrated brew. Then I decanted using the infuser to remove the grounds, which worked great. Also, the lid isn’t quite airtight. Didn’t seem to be a big deal but suppose it cuts down on storage time.

By G. Kelley - August 20, 2018Very easy to use. Just follow the very simple directions and you’ll make great cold brew coffee. I leave my coffee brewing for about 20 hours. Wish the carafe and filter were bigger but that’s the only downside.All the parts clean very easily but sometimes a few grounds will stick in the filter and need some rinsing with the sink hose but that’s not a problem. The carafe is easy to handle and looks good.

I wanted something to cold brew ice tea. Works great for that. The glass is much thinner feeling than I expected. But the unit is nice and easy to clean. The filter is really fine so slow ..not really good prob if you are looking for like a infuser for fruits. But so far works great for the purpose. Looking to try cold brew coffee next.

Beautiful piece, makes it easy to make tea or cold brew coffee. However, the rubber/stainless steel lid does not work with the "pot". The rubber does not fit or stick well to the glass, as such, it falls off while pouring coffee/tea into a cup or glass. This basically means that the pot is a great art piece with limited practical use.
