Speeds up cleaner radiator draining and changing.
Proved invaluable when draining my radiator. The tray doesn't hold a great volume, but the deflection units that clip on the pipework worked a treat and prevented the usual puddle on the floor! With care and regular tray emptying (or changing) replacing my radiator with a new one proved far quicker and cleaner.

Handy great, works well, fayr better than my home made setup.
Had a look & I like the flaps, there are plastic inserts to seal the flaps, not the best, used duct tape instead. The flaps work great, the tray is handy. In stead of 3 to 4 hours and a mess 1 hour to drain a 600mm high by 1050mm long double radiator, which holds about 2 to 3 litres of water. Draining the heating system, found the amount of hard rubbish was extreme. Might have to do it again from another radiator. I fitted the flap but fought to get the tab in so used duct tape. Have not added any Sentinel treatment yet I have an old system with all sorts of pipe connections, still trying to work this out. I have some plumbing experience, LOL, Why are they fixing what aint broke?? Hoping the balance valve with drain connection I've ordered will fit. Ordered the freeze spray with blanket. If there are still problems I'll fit a T Piece with ball valve. Watch this space

It just works as described
I bought this instead of one of those one that use rubber membranes due to reports that the rubber was fragile. I just watched a video and did what it described, got the radiator off with minimal spillage, just a damp towel. Well worth it.

Quality item
Very good item useful for all draining down tasks from radiators to emptying the filter on the washing machine. Combine this with the water proof mat and you will never run into problems and mopping up after a drain down.
