This is in daily use holding my phone securely in my work truck (semi) that has a pretty rough ride - stiff suspension. It’s replaced all the plastic suction cup type phone holders and I’ll never go back to those! It’s pricey yes, but the functionality, and durability are well worth it. This is a professional grade solution. Additional metal discs can be purchased, it came with a couple of the smaller round types which is what I mounted permanently on my work truck windshield and one on my car. You just pull it off (both ends have magnets) and take it with your phone from vehicle to vehicle, only limited by which ones you’ve mounted the metal discs to mount it to. The rubber magnet covers started coming off and I used a tiny amount of “Shoe Goo” (much like a slightly thicker super glue) which stopped that problem very well. The quality really it top tier, I was replacing the plastic models every few months. I fully expect this to last many years.

I can’t believe how strong these are and now that they have a MagSafe charger to buy I’m definitely getting some more. Whoever chose the materials actually you can tell they did their research because the magnets and plates on these are very strong and they work very well. Even the adhesive holds up in the Arizona heat if that doesn’t tell you something.

I have these in my vehicle to mount a handheld radio and small flashlight. Been in the vehicle in the hot summer sun for months and the adhesive has held up.
