Works great! I like that you can wire it to have the light on when the meter is running, super nice hour meter.

It works well and as advertised. It does not measure vibrations, instead it counts time when it receives power. That way it does not pick up false vibrations when transporting the unit is installed on by a vehicle. I did not wire it as the instructions suggest. There are 4 connections/tabs. One for negative and 3 for positive. One of the positives "E" connected to the motor and the other two to the power source. This way the unit measures only when the motor is running. Blue light makes it easy to read in dark places and under the sun. Great unit so far.

Seems like this hour meter is made very well. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong meter. This one is for DC, the one I needed should have been for AC. I didn't realize the lighting coil puts out AC current. I have since bought the correct hour meter.

Works great as a replacement for a Honeywell Hr. meter on my Takeuchi mini excavator. My harness has all four wires and the blue backlight works when the lights are on. Easy, basic instructions. Came with built in clips, two holes and small bolts and nuts included. Hourglass flashes when counting. A cheap replacement for the dealer recommended one at 7x the price.

Fantastic hour meter. I used it on my PCP compressor. Taped it up to a 9 volt battery and let it run until it matched the hours on my compressor. I couldn’t be happier.
