works well for my needs in a fab shop

This thing is genuinely fantastic. I haven’t gone nearly as heavy as I say it’s rated for but I believe it is at least that strong. Very impressed. The paint/powdercoat chipped pretty easily, that doesn’t bother me but is worth noting.

This has been a game changer for lifting cutting edges. Use it almost every day it works great and saves lots of time not having to rig things up.

I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews. The price was right so I took a chance. I took this to work and attached to overhead crane, and attached to a 7 inch diameter by 39 inches long 4140 round stock weighing about 400 pounds. I raised the hoist and picked up the part about an inch off the pallet and gave the chain a good shake! This magnet held securely. I suspect some people were trying to pick up objects that were too thin, thereby losing maximum penetration. The chart does show about 1 inch thickness or more for best penetration. The guide does show that round stock will lose some advantage between 30% and 50% compared to flat stock. My demonstration performed better than that. Of course you should never trust any magnet completely, even after giving a good shake, I still would not put my hands or feet in path of danger. So please---- Always Be Careful! Hope this helps.

This magnet routinely failed under barely 50 lbs of weight. We can fully engage the device and then rip it off with our hands. Nowhere near the stated capacity, would not recommend at all.

Für den Preis absolut okay! In der Leistungsklasse müsste man normalerweise mit deutlich mehr Kohle rüber kommen. Da hält der Anbieter was er verspricht. Also gute Tools für einen bezahlbaren Preis. Ist nicht mein erster und bestimmt auch nicht mein letzter vevor-kauf.

Le produit ne correspond absolument pas à mes attentes. Le levage réel est différent de celui indiqué sur la fiche technique, ce qui rend le produit non conforme.J’ai donc demandé le renvoi des deux aimants. Or, malgré un deuxième rendez-vous de collecte fixé, personne ne s’est présenté pour récupérer les colis. Cette situation est inacceptable et manque de sérieux. Je vous demande de prendre les mesures nécessaires rapidement afin de résoudre ce problème sans délai.
