The media could not be loaded.  Planning on using this gate to block my dog in one room. We have an entryway without a door. It is wider than a typical doorway, so this gate will work well. Our dog is about 50 lbs, but typically she doesn't attempt to force her way through blocked doors. If she really wanted to, as it is only about 3 feet tall, she could jump over the gate. But I believe it will work fine.The gate is much sturdier than expected. The mesh is quite thick. There are buttons that are pushed to lock the mesh in place. Although it is flexible, it would take some force to bend the gate when secured.The installation doesn't look complicated. Detailed instructions are provided, including pictures. The instructions also show how to lock the gate. There are multiple brackets and screws to work on various surfaces. This is explained in the installation instructions. The gate can be attached to a door jam (inside the doorway) or in a wall in front of a doorway.The two pictures show the height measurements of the gate. The mesh is 31 inches. The frame is about 34 inches tall. The video shows how the gate and hardware are packaged and the measurement of the gate width. The width is actually about 59 inches including the frame. However, with the locking feature, it will work with much a smaller doorway if needed.The last couple of pictures are after the install. The gate has a little bit of a wave in it, not sure why. It isn't too noticeable, but as in other reviews it does show up. The picture with our dog is facing the gate. The other is from the other side. The only difference is the lighting.I highly recommend this gate; it is well built for for both safety and strength. Also, I have dealt with this seller on a different item. They have excellent support staff; helpful if you need assistance with their products.

I purchased this product primarily to corral my dogs. It was a little clumsy at first trying to figure out how the mechanism locked and unlocked but once I did, it’s easy and I can do it with one hand. However, just a warning make sure it’s locked if you don’t want your dogs going through it. My Doberman figured that out and she ran right underneath the gate but did not damage it.

This baby gate came with super easy installation instructions. Easy to set up and clips right in the wall mounts. Very sturdy after set up. Only issue is you have to bend over and open the top and bottom with two hands.

I would say it is easy to install but it is not quick to install. I was given a different name-brand one but it did not come with hardware so I was unable to install it. That is why I purchased this one. It keeps the dog out of the front door area which is the purpose of the gate. But it could be easier to latch. It takes awhile to get used to it.Bottom line: I like the gate and it serves its purpose. Just wish the latching was better.

The flexible gate rolls up compactly and locks securely when deployed. 2 button release is at the roller end away from where it opens so it not obvious to the toddler how to unlock it. We use this at the top of the stairs to avoid falls.

I was tired of my wonky wooden gate that I had been using that was a lot of trouble to open and close and looked ugly. So, I bought the Bulubaky Retractable Gate for my dog. It takes some time to install but it looks great! If you are using it for a dog, make sure you get one that is tall enough to discourage your dog from jumping up on it. My dog is small so I got the 33" tall gate. Note that you will need a drill for the installation. I was impressed with the quality of the gate and installation directions were clear and easy to follow. (see pics). The gate even has directions for the accommodation of the wall baseboard and the different types of surfaces you may encounter on your installation. The curtain is sturdy and opens and retracts easily. Highly recommended!

Will be returning one, i the little PCs that lock in place snapped while we were testing the ease of latching and unlatching… for 50 bucks they should be significantly more sturdy. I like the design but execution is somewhat lacking. What if a child leaned on it at the top of a stairwell? That’s unsettling. I will say if those PCs were larger they would be perfect. And much more safe and effective. Don’t get me wrong I am having it replaced, but I just wish they were more secure. Mine are to block rooms off from the pups, so don’t let this review sway you these are great gates, I just wouldn’t go as far to say I’d trust them at the top of stairs, maybe bottom… not top though.Update:So I was contacted yesterday by the seller and I have to say WOW!!!! What AWESOME customer service. Anne us whom I spoke with, and she was polite, friendly, and beyond eager to not only replace the item, but replace it free of charge, with urgency, and was adamant about not returning the broken one to keep anyone else from accidentally getting the same gate. I took pictures of the broken pieces for them to send to their manufacturing location to CORRECT AND IMPROVE this design. I have to say I’m beyond impressed. That is over the top customer service. We need more companies like this excelling. This product has the potential to be THE NUMBER ONE safety gate, with a few minor adjustments as I mentioned in my initial review. I was not expecting anyone to reach out, but I am fascinated to see a company not make excuses but instead, embracing constructive feedback. I will say, as I said initially I do think these have tremendous potential and significant value to both new mothers and fathers as well as those of us trying to keep our fur babies safe. I would give them 10 stars if I could just simply based on their customer service.
