I loved the contrast of the white rabbit and moon design on the black kyusu! It reminds me of Kutani ware, a traditional Japanese craft! The rabbit pattern is very detailed and beautifully painted. I bought this Teapot to drink Japanese green tea. I found a cup with a rabbit design in the same brand "HAKONE YOSEGI" and bought it together. The kyusu has a strainer attached, so I was able to drink hot tea as soon as I put the tea in the strainer and added hot water. You can see how the tea is made in the video. The Teapot is made of sturdy materials, so there is no need to worry about it breaking. It is a size and weight that a woman can easily hold in one hand. The gift package is cute and makes a great Christmas gift or Mother's Day gift. The packaging is completely covered with Styrofoam, so there is no risk of breakage. I bought this for myself, but plan to send it to my mother as a birthday gift. It is a great gift for Japanese tea drinkers. It made my tea time wonderful and enjoyable. It is my favorite. I recommend this Teapot because it is worth more than the price!

FAKE!!! NOT KUTANI WARE,the listing says it is but it is not. It is not even made in Japan. The teapot is not hand painted (like kutani ware) has a different glaze and mine was also uneven (some parts not covered) so it HAS to be returned. What I received DOES NOT STATE that it is Kutani ware, it is also not stamped and is a total fake. FAKE FAKE FAKE

love everything about this but the filter. have to take the filter out to not steep too weakly. but still need the strainer to catch the large amount of tea that falls out so I can dump it back in

One I bought earlier was much better quality. I broke lid so I ordered another pot with the same pattern. But so disappointed.
