Very nice substrate
Arrives damp like most substrates but dries out very quickly with a heat lamp or heat mat.When it dries there are no cracks, it becomes sand.Great for my desert spiders.

My Duprasi loves this substrate!
Although this is marketed as substrate for desert dwelling species of reptiles, it is gaining popularity with keepers of other pets such as Duprasi.I have been using it for my own Duprasi.She loves to dig in this substrate and it is entertaining to watch.Her coat looks extra lovely since using this, as it removes the grease from her fur just like her sand bath does.It is not damp like some other substrates eg Coco fibre soil etc, so is meant to be better for Duprasi.It can be sieved to clean it.
