Excellent tool for mapping rooms
Husband and I plan on doing some renos to the house, so we purchased this to map out the rooms! Then we can construct a model of the house and play around with what we want to do. So far, everything seems to be working very well! We tested out a few of the measurement against a tape measure and found it to be the same. It's easy to use - you just place the butt of it against a wall and push the button and boom, there's your measurement from wall to wall. It measures in both meters and feet, but we are using meters because it scales down easier.

Works great for house hunting and remodeling
I got this to up grade from my dewalt red dot. Which it still is. Takes easy and quick measurements and remembers them. Works far away. Only issue I have run into is outdoors during the day. If you’re having trouble finding the dot, it won’t see it. I also got this to help with house hunting. Part of this is measuring yard space which during the day this is impossible for anything beyond 30ft of that. Still a wonderful product. I do recommend as it is easy to read, the display looks amazing, it’s light weight and is a great price for what you are getting.

Love this thing! Had for over a year.
I've used this for over a year and it is like having superpowers! Being able to quickly and quite accurately measure distances makes tasks from re-arranging your bedroom to doing preliminary business/construction quotes a breeze! Just note that it does not work outdoors in full sun very well, but on a cloudy day or inside, this thing works very well!

For what I needed it was easy to use

Very little use yet. Not sure if new.
I have not use it much yet or tested it to determine its accuracy. But it will work for the intended use, unless a test shows it is inaccurate. My only concern is that I am not certain this was an unused item as the box had a transparent tape placed in a very sloppy manner to keep the box closed.
