garbage: after 14 months of daily use, doesn't keep charge for *one* day
I am **beyond** fed up with cheap batteries that don’t even perform anything close to the original OEM spec. The original battery in my Costco bought HX6220 is 680 mAh. This battery “claims” to have a capacity 50% greater at 1000 mAh and after 2 full charge cycles over 26 days, yeah right - either this is not true or the quality of the battery is really really poor.To provide some perspective, a Philips OEM battery lasts a minimum of 3 weeks (21 days, 42 uses) total with the blinking yellow low battery warning going off at 2 weeks (14 days) and this was probably a year or two into the life of the battery so it was likely more when it was new. I used this battery for 6 years twice daily (so that’s 3650 times absolute minimum and this is lowballing the figure based on 5 years). by the time I wanted to replace it, the charge would last 3 or 4 days before the low battery light would come on.UPDATE(10/31/2024): after 14 months of daily use, a 6 year old OEM battery keeps a charge *longer* than this piece of crap that can't hold a charge for *one* day. I woke up this morning and was able to use my toothbrush 2 or 3x on a "full" charge before it gave up in the middle of brushing! After 1 full charge to this Kastar battery [when new], the battery lasted 14 days and died so quickly, there was no low battery warning - this was a cause for concern as the power curve is dropping off so precipitously, so fast that the unit fails to turn on.I charged it a 2nd time and the low battery light already came on after *6* days - this is not a good sign! It ultimately lasted 10 days (19 uses) - nothing close to the 42 uses I got out of the original OEM battery. what a disappointment.Thank god I don’t have to go through the trouble of desoldering the battery to return it (pro tip: cut off two internal clips inside the HX6220 so it’s not nearly as difficult to open again). But to be honest, I want my 7 year old battery back in - what a hassle. You’ve been warned.

Just the battery!
This was advertised as coming with tools and parts to change out the battery.Received with only the battery and the battery was bouncing around in a 12x6x6 box for just a little battery.
