Spin Dryer 4kg Umelome, 2800 RPM Energy Saving Clothes Spinner, Silver

Hi I bought this for those damp winter and bad summer months where my clothes were not drying or taking days to dry. 1. Easy set up and okay storage for small space, have a tiny kitchen but I placed it in reach in front of the washing machine. Super easy to use believe me, even elderley folk could use this in a jiffy! 2. Even though I have a new washing machine top of the range and it does spin up 1400 rpm, there is still water, so when placing the washing in this device does take a considerable bit of water out of the clothes, especially towels or heavy items. 3. The spin is relatively short I'm sure 5 to 7 mins max. 4.easy to place your washing in and can take a good size load every time. 5 you will need to white plastic mesh thing on top of your washing under the silver drum ring edge otherwise it will be rocking all over the place and makes it not so noisy 6. It come with a handy catch bucket for alll that liquid. 7. I sometime still hang my clothes on the dryer as would say 95% dry without heavy water in there and they dry overnight fully or for quicker method still I place in the dryer direct for less drying time at 20 mins depending and the baby clothes dry super quick! It's pricey but worth every penny!! I invested and don't regret as i won't be going through winter with nasty cold hanging clothes everywhere! Goodluck!

I took delivery this afternoon of the 4kg spin dryer. Delivery was friendly and helpful. We're moving on to a narrowboat so most of our beautiful furniture and white goods have gone to a Hospice charity. I hand washed a few items in the kitchen sink, gently squeezed out the excess water. The spin dryer was put into our shed, it's a cute little machine, not heavy to move around. Looks sturdy and smart in silver. Easy to use, simple instructions. I remember my mother had one when her washing machine broke down...many years ago. Anyhow, I am sooo pleased with my spin dryer, it is quiet when in use, after about 5 mins, auto timer, it's finished. My clothes are almost dry!! Ok the odd item may need a bit of an iron running over it but tbh that's a small price to pay. I'm beginning to think now that if I had one of these years ago I probably wouldn't have needed a tumble dryer! It will be perfect on my boat, less humidity, hardly any at all!! Highly recommend!

I bought this for mums caravan. Mum does a lot of hand washing, and as she has severe arthritis she struggles to wring out the washing. This has gone down really well, and she's said she'll take it home when the site season ends as it's so effective. It's very quiet, except if it's not evenly balanced. The 4 kg size coped with their king sized duvet set, and it's fairly compact in size. It's not especially heavy, so it can be moved around if needed. Hopefully it will last, but so far, so good.

I purchased this spinner because my washing machine recently died. I don't want to buy a new one just yet, because the area where the new machine will be housed is about to be refurbished. So I'm washing by hand, which, in itself isn't too bad. However, getting enough water out of some items is so difficult, in some cases impossible. This spinner was up and running within 10 minutes of arrival. The preparation was simple; removal of the motor locking mechanism, (which literally was just pulling a plastic disc out of the bottom of the machine) removal of the foam padding holding the drum in place, remove instruction manual and the plastic disc that holds the clothes down and then plug in! The most difficult thing was getting it out of the box! It came with a small bowl to collect the water, but to be safe I used a washing-up bowl the first time because I wasn't sure how much water would come out. I spun a single cotton duvet cover and one pillowcase, which fitted in with no problem. The machine was easy to operate and much quieter than I'd expected. I let it run until no more water came out then switched off. I - Was - Shocked! This machine had extracted more water out of the duvet cover than my previous Zanussi washing machine. So much so that I'd suggest not letting it run for too long when spinning anything that's even slightly delicate. This machine will be such a help until a new washing machine is installed. Admittedly I've only used it once, but after that one time I have no hesitation in recommending it. I might update this review when I've used the machine more.

Good product. Noisy and can jump around like it’s trying to escape the kitchen but it does the job

I've had this for two months and so far so good. A bit quieter than my previous 20 year old Frigidaire. It seems to be well made though the plastic lid is quite light a probably needs to be handled with care. Like all spin dryers you need to load clothes evenly round the drum to prevent the whole thing wobbling badly. It's very smooth when it's gathered speed.

Next day delivery - Excellent. When it arrived I was very surprised at how compact the spin dryer was, in fact a bit dubious that it would be under-powered. I tested the appliance on arrival and the perfomance was excellent. Really easy to set up, though you do need to be careful to load clothes in layers, to make sure that the drum doesn't bang on start up. The start handle locks the lid in place and the dryer starts straight away. Really quiet operation and despite spinning at 2800 rpm the unit was really stable The spin dryer has an automatic 5 minute cut-off, which I didn't expect to find on a machine of this cost and, after spinning about a 4.5kg load there was about a half pint of water expelled. Had I just put the clothes onto a drying rack, straight from the washing machine, this water would have caused a lot of condensation, so I am really impressed with how quickly this spin dryer gets additional moisture out of clothes. If I had to make one observation, there does appear to be some water left inside the spin dryer after use so, you do need to tip it at an angle to get this to drain into the supplied bucket. Apart from this, I would say that this is an excellent purchase and my impression after its first use, is that this spin dryer is going to get a lot of use.

Love love love it!!! Its great takes out lots of extra water so clothes dry much quicker. Very much recommend 👌 If you are thinking about it, I would say yes you need it! You won't regret it.

I’m really impressed with this Umelome spinner! The delivery was faster than expected, and the product arrived in perfect condition. It works amazingly well — the clothes come out almost dry, which saves a lot of time, especially with heavier fabrics. It’s easy to use, efficient, and much better than I imagined. I definitely recommend it 100%!

Très efficace ! J’ai un sèche linge et, le temps de séchage après être passé par l’essoreuse est considérablement réduit. Moins de temps de sèche linge entraîne moins d’électricité pour sécher. Bref, l’essoreuse sera vite amortie.
