Lucky buy
Good product. I was skeptikal when i saw negative reviews. I believe company has listened to customers and made improvements. Tap is very smooth to operate. Full control over water flow. Soft and smooth stream . Flawless construction. Cannot ask for more.

Great tap, shame about the waste
The tap is lovely, simple as. Easy to install, except it's a struggle in small sinks such as corner sinks. The waste though is a waste! It doesn't seal around the thread do water leaks down it. I tried a different, specialist washer on the bottom, which was ok, but the metal is so thin that it snapped where i held it with pliers whole trying to tighten it up. I bought a replacement from a well known fixing and screws company for less than a tenner, and it was perfect and much more robust. I also bought another waste off here and that too was cheap but much better than this. Just to reiterate though, the tap is fab!

Beautiful elegant tap, poor plastic fixing nut
I love the look and feel of this tap, I do not like the plastic fixing nut. Fixing nut is hand tighten only, and as other reviewers have commented, slips as you tighten. With my heavy handed family, this barbie tap will be loose in no time. Unfortunately this product does not work for me. The click clack plug looked good, but it is the wrong type for the sink I have, the sink is only 20mm thick, and the plug has a 25-30mm shank at the top of the thread, plus it's slotted, whereas I required an un-slotted plug - My mistake there, but had to buy another plug to suit my requirements. All in all, hasn't worked for me for a number of reasons. But, conclusion, that plastic fastening nut on the mixer tap is terrible, if that were changed to brass nut or some other nut, this would represent good quality at a great price. I will see if I can find a brass nut at local hardware store before I go buy another replacement tap.
