SYMA S100 Mini RC Helicopter for Kids, Indoor Flying, Altitude Hold, Blue

I bought this mini helicopter as a gift for a child, and we were both pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was. It’s tiny, but it works really well and is easy to control, even for a beginner. We especially liked the altitude hold and one-button takeoff and landing, which made learning to fly it much easier. The controls respond well, and it even handled a couple of small crashes without any problems. Its compact size is perfect for flying indoors, and the 5–7 minutes of flight time is enough to have a lot of fun. It turned out to be a great little gift!

This mini RC helicopter is a lot of fun and very easy to fly, even for beginners. The gyro stabilization and altitude hold features make it much easier to control, and it flies smoothly indoors. It’s lightweight, durable, and the compact size is perfect for small spaces. The battery lasts about 5–7 minutes, which is expected for a helicopter of this size, and it recharges quickly. It’s a great gift for kids and adults who enjoy remote-control toys. Overall, it’s well made and provides hours of entertainment. Highly recommended!

I purchased this for my three year old. It's not designed for such young children but for the most part my son got the hang of the controls pretty quickly. I did notice it completely stopped working when a hair got wrapped around the rotors but resumed working after it was removed. All in all, I've been happy with my purchase and my son loves it. I do wish the battery life was just a little longer, but from what I understand it's average for the price range. Very fun toy for kids AND adults alike. I recommend!

This SYMA mini RC helicopter is amazingly easy to control, thanks to its built-in stabilizer. It hovers smoothly, responds quickly to controls, and is extremely durable against small bumps and crashes. Perfect for kids and beginners, or anyone looking for a fun indoor toy. Highly recommended!

11/07/22 update: As of today the S100 keeps climbing upwards after manual or auto take off (despite pressing downwards on the control) ...the only thing that stops the helicopter is long pressing the auto launch/land button. The S100 does this repeatedly even after switching both it and the control off and on multiple times. The S100 lasted 1 mth before irreparable Failure. For $50 I expected 'some' quality. Note: SYMA support contacted me upon posting these unfavorable reviews, asked for my order #s and offered replacements. When I informed them that I gave up on the company (partly for prior lack of service replacing a missing screw) all communication ceased. *** Buyer BEWARE *** Initial review: Originally I wanted to like Syma helicopters but experiences with their support and the s100 & s39 units have left me at a pause for concern. Upon take-off, the s100 & s39 units at times continue an uncontrolled upwards climb despite the vertical control stick being in the neutral/downward position and continue going until it drags itself across ceilings and stops ONLY when the main blade/propeller is interrupted by continually hitting a wall - which then causes the helicopter to go into a free fall and leaving you and your belongings covered in stucco. Apart from this it flies like a dream (if you're okay with constantly fighting the helicopter to not climb upwards). On the surface they look nice and seem well built, but flight experiences are another ordeal. Support (as others have noted) is non-existent as I've contacted them about replacing a missing screw to which they did nothing. So if you enjoy uncontrolled upwards climbs despite pressing the downwards button upon take off - Syma is Perfect for You! Note: I have experiences with other helicopter brands that Do NOT operate this way.

It's a small helicopter but it's very nice and works quite well. It is easy to control and the function of maintaining height helps a lot to learn how to handle it. The size is perfect for use inside the house in small spaces. It feels entertaining and is a good option to have a fun time

This mini helicopter is cool. I fly it inside the house when I’m bored. It’s easy and fun to fly. It hit the wall a couple times and It’s durable it didn’t break.

My 6yr old was overjoyed to get a chance to fly this baby…she has been asking for it for months. Packaged neatly, we took it out of the box and counted down the 30 minutes to charge it up. We turned on the remote…then the chopper and pressed the auto lift off. It rose off the table and hovered perfectly with a humm. I went over the controls with my daughter and handed over the remote. She flew it perfectly out of the kitchen and into our den with a smile and excitement….and then…..she flew it too close to the floor trying to land it. The heli bumped the wall and skidded off the ground. We quickly turned of the remotes power button but the prop kept turning. As it turned on the floor, a hair wrapped around the prop (bad luck? Maybe?) Game over…5 minutes in…tears. I immediately ordered another, knowing zero shot that hair tangles are covered under the warranty. I’ll wait for the second test run…but while I expect a slightly better outcome…I doubt the longevity of this gem in the hands of a young child. Comments read rave the durability…but parent be ware….flushing $30 (potentially $60 now) down the drain for this one may not be worth the 5-10 minutes of flight time. Live and learn.

Excelent!. Tough & fun. A good indoor exectutive desk toy. It can be flown with precision to land on the landing pad provided. I trimmed about 2 mm from each tip of the rear prop. It was moving forward too uncontrolably fast. Easy to fly for those gamers used to controllers. Not as easy to learn otherwise, so have a great big indoor flying area till you get it figured out. Should take 5-10 trys then you'll have it. Don't worry too much about crashes. Mine has been pretty tough.

This tiny Copter surprised me, for the price its a win. The battery last for approximately 5-7 min. The stability is quite good. But it keeps moving backwards which is controllable. Very fun toy for playing indoor. If you are looking for something within this price, go for it.

Fun to fly. My copter wanders. Gotta stay sharp on the controls or off to the ceiling fan we go! I've crashed umpteen and a half times and so far only rear fixed wing pops off. I contemplated glue solution, but maybe it's a good thing during crash? Just pops back on, if not re-installed this birdy won't soar too pretty good. Don't pilot out of doors. Like putting a goldfish in the ocean and expecting it back.

It flies decent and is very small which I was looking for. No matter how much I trim it, it still floats to one side so doesnt hoover very steady Update; upon leaving my above feedback, customer service reached out to me immediately ( I did not reach out to them) and worked with me to correct the issue which has been done. They also reaasured me that if any further issues were to happen (which they have not) that they would be available to help me. Great little product with amazing customer service with amazing after care. Thank you again!!!
