I was a bit skeptical about this product because the price was fairly low. I was pleasantly surprised, the color match was perfect down to the size of the metallic in my original paint. It was easy to apply and the scratches and rock chips disappeared. I did prep the surface by using alcohol. After the paint dried, I polished with a rag and some automotive polish. The polish really helped to even out the surface. My scratches and rock chips were fairly small. It may be difficult to get a perfect repair with larger damage.

I had around a dozen very small paint chips from rocks. Tesla paint is soft and thin. I followed the directions and started with the white which was too white to match the pearl white. After twenty minutes drying time I followed up with the pearl white which was a closer match. Next time I will only use the pearl white. My chips were small enough that I used the pen feature of the paint applicator. You use multiple taps of the pen tip inside the paint chip. Don't drag the pen tip. Keep tapping to let the paint flow until the chip is full. The paint dries pretty fast so you have to keep the pen tip clean while you work. Looks way better than the chip did. They also included 6 super fine paint applicators. I didn't use them but they were a nice bonus if I needed them.

What are people thinking? These 5 star reviews with pics show how terrible this looks. It's basically white out. The best option is to avoid buying a tesla, given how thin their paint is. This is a known issue with tesla. We have 7 electric cars with our company, but only the tesla has chipped paint.

This is a good product—-good color and applicator. But it ran out too soon so I had to use more than one kit for a slightly large paint problem. I think it ought to have lasted longer.

This paint is a perfect match. Would highly recommend if you have the blue Tesla.

It was not a perfect match of the Tesla white car I have, but darn close. My car it not quite as much of a bright white as this is. I will say though. It is very hard to see where I did the touch up. Very happy with this product. Easy to use and looks great.
