SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm Bluetooth Smartwatch w/Body, Health, Fitness and Sleep Tracker, Black (Renewed)

Had this watch for about a week now. I was initially hesitant about the purchase, as this is my first smart watch. After research, and getting acquainted with the tool, I'm so happy I pulled the trigger. I use it every day for surprisingly detailed sleep tracking, enhanced step/activity tracking, ease of checking notifications and responding when I don't have easy access to my phone (or if I'm not supposed to at work), and on top of all of that, it's just a fantastic looking watch. The amount of functions you have access to is fantastic. I have paid more in my life for a watch that literally could only tell time. Lol. I know the health monitoring data may not be spot on, but it has really helped me focus on the right things during day to day. If you're on the fence, do it. If you have a Samsung phone, definitely do it. Some tips: 1.) I recommend the first thing you do is order the official Samsung wireless charger to go with it. The charger shipped with this watch is off-brand and charges at about 5 watts, which takes about 2.5-3 hours. The Samsung charger provides 10 watt fast charging which takes 90 minutes at most. Again, the included charger is aftermarket, and slooowww. Get the Samsung one. The battery life on this watch is good, but not phenomenal, so having a faster charger is key to low stress ownership. These smart devices take at least one or two charge cycles to optimize battery use, so be patient with the first couple of battery cycles. I got one day out of the first two, then started getting a full 2 days easy, with slight tweaks to functions, but still fairly liberal use. I've attached screen shots of my batter usage stats after the break in period. If you want to have everything running all day at full capacity, again definitely get the Samsung charger so you can juice up faster after a day of heavy use. 2.) This is not a brand new watch. It was manufactured in 2022, and used by a previous owner for years. Do not expect it to be in perfect cosmetic condition. For the price, I think this is reasonable (approx $100 vs $400 new when it came out). Mine has a couple of blemishes, but the screen is in excellent condition. Still looks great to my eye! Consider getting a case and screen protector. 3.) I also recommend taking some rubbing alcohol, a micro fiber cloth, and some q-tips to the watch on arrival. The refurbishing on it is okay, but I did still clean off a thin layer of built up grime from the previous owner, especially in some hard to reach spots. 4.) If you are fairly active I recommend getting a different band for the watch. The OEM rubber one ends up slipping all over anytime I build up a sweat. If I try to tighten it enough to stay still, it ends up pinching and cutting off blood flow. I work in food service, so having to constantly readjust the position through my shift has been annoying. I also have slim wrists, and forums seem to say the "no gap" bands are to be avoided. You want that gap so the band can bend down from the mounting point to provide more wrist contact. In summary: This watch has been a super enjoyable addition to my health tracking, Samsung ecosystem, and just general gadgets I use on the daily. I love it! Still giving it 5 stars despite the effort I've had to put in to make everything work right for me, because the price is an absolute steal. I don't have money for a brand new smart watch, but this one still holds its own with the current market, from what I've gathered, and even provides better battery life than a lot of brand new watches.

Watch arrived on time and looks great! It connected to our S25 Ultra smoothly, definitely compatible. The box contained the watched wrapped nicely and a charger. The watch started charging right away and worked right away. It does have dings one the metal part around the screen, but the screen is in perfect condition. You cannot see anything marks of dings unless looking close up at the watch. The watch has been used and running for 4 days now, battery life is great, and we truly enjoy it. Beyond satisfied for the price.

Very nice and in good working condition. Gave this to my boyfriend for every day use and to do physical work in. It has been a good watch for keeping track of steps and heart rate etc. Battery life is a expected. Very easy to set up and connect.

Received in a white box with a aftermarket charger. Condition was okay not the cleanest so I had to to take a fine tip pick to clean out dirt from between the buttons and the case and inside the mic opening. There was also noticeable dirt on the back side between the sensor and the back of the case meet. Watch outer casing has some fading of the black finish that looks lome a dark brown finish either from regular contact with soap or toe hr cleaning solution while being worn. I purchased a spigen watch band and face protector band so it covers the case staining. Fridge recommendation after doing a through cleaning of the watch is to install the updates. There were about 6 separate updates that needed to be downloaded. Just keeping checking for updates after each install until it says you're up to date. If you use it as is before making updates there may be issues ao do those updates that way you can see how the watch performs and if there are any issues. Battery life on my watch is really good. I can wear it for 2-3 days before it gets to about 50% and then I throw it on the charge. I like that it connects to wifi so even if I'm away from the watch it will notify me on my phone when its fully charged even when its at home and I'm not at home. Charges pretty quick as well. So far I've been using it for a few weeks and haven't had any issues. Samsung pay works great so I don't need to pull my phone out. Ring notifications also show the image of who's at the door on the watch. Replying to text is convenient either typing or voice texting. Definitely a great deal for brand name watch that give you many features youll find on newer models without taking a big hit in your wallet. I am using it with a samsung z flip 6

Good watch, no visible scratches, and and excellent battery life, I can't say the band is comfortable because I got a magnetic band for it, size is good, lod display, is good, on the first few hours of using it was slow but worked greats after the first day, connections to the phone great, I don't have a Galaxy watch but still works great and vary good to use, I would write my experience a 9 out of 10

Watch is in perfect condition and was able to be updated to the latest One UI 8. The charger works, but is not the original that came with the watch. It is from a Galaxy Watch 4 or earlier. The charger that came with this Watch is smaller and USB C.

At first I wanted to return the watch, but then I went and read the reason behind it I wanted to keep it. So far it looks good a bit dirty but nothing that can be fixed.

So yes I know this item is used, but I paid for the excellent condition version which would have been acceptable if it had one or even perhaps two "light" scuffs, but in my opinion i received an item in good condition per Amazon's renew descriptions. Not only are the multiple deep scratches and chips in the case which are able to be seen from 12 inches, but they can be seen at arms length of 2ft! Everything it came with is generic, box,charger,power block (fine), and there were no quick start instructions which were supposed to be included per the description. I have not yet powered up the watch because I will probably return it due to misleading descriptions by Amazon and/or the seller. Just want other buyers to be aware that even if you pay for excellent, you my receive a "good" product. There are several complaints of late of others receiving what I just discribed, so this is not an isolated issue. I was just hoping some may have has too high of expectations which I now know not to be the case. Again, in my opinion this is a product of good condition and should be sold as such. But who knows maybe product is mixed in the Amazon warehouse. UPDATE: So I decided to power up the watch. The battery was at 46% Powered it down and charged to 100% Powered back on and let it sit for exactly 1 hour with a black screen. When I illuminated the screen again, the battery was down to 89% !!! Again, sitting idle after full charge for 1hr. So not only did I pay for the "excellent condition" version and received it with deep scratches,nicks in the case in 2 areas, it also has a battery that does not hold a charge. This does not even qualify as a renewed product by any means and will be returned. Very disappointed Amazon.
