SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm Bluetooth Smartwatch w/Body, Health, Fitness and Sleep Tracker, Black (Renewed)

Had this watch for about a week now. I was initially hesitant about the purchase, as this is my first smart watch. After research, and getting acquainted with the tool, I'm so happy I pulled the trigger. I use it every day for surprisingly detailed sleep tracking, enhanced step/activity tracking, ease of checking notifications and responding when I don't have easy access to my phone (or if I'm not supposed to at work), and on top of all of that, it's just a fantastic looking watch. The amount of functions you have access to is fantastic. I have paid more in my life for a watch that literally could only tell time. Lol. I know the health monitoring data may not be spot on, but it has really helped me focus on the right things during day to day. If you're on the fence, do it. If you have a Samsung phone, definitely do it. Some tips: 1.) I recommend the first thing you do is order the official Samsung wireless charger to go with it. The charger shipped with this watch is off-brand and charges at about 5 watts, which takes about 2.5-3 hours. The Samsung charger provides 10 watt fast charging which takes 90 minutes at most. Again, the included charger is aftermarket, and slooowww. Get the Samsung one. The battery life on this watch is good, but not phenomenal, so having a faster charger is key to low stress ownership. These smart devices take at least one or two charge cycles to optimize battery use, so be patient with the first couple of battery cycles. I got one day out of the first two, then started getting a full 2 days easy, with slight tweaks to functions, but still fairly liberal use. I've attached screen shots of my batter usage stats after the break in period. If you want to have everything running all day at full capacity, again definitely get the Samsung charger so you can juice up faster after a day of heavy use. 2.) This is not a brand new watch. It was manufactured in 2022, and used by a previous owner for years. Do not expect it to be in perfect cosmetic condition. For the price, I think this is reasonable (approx $100 vs $400 new when it came out). Mine has a couple of blemishes, but the screen is in excellent condition. Still looks great to my eye! Consider getting a case and screen protector. 3.) I also recommend taking some rubbing alcohol, a micro fiber cloth, and some q-tips to the watch on arrival. The refurbishing on it is okay, but I did still clean off a thin layer of built up grime from the previous owner, especially in some hard to reach spots. 4.) If you are fairly active I recommend getting a different band for the watch. The OEM rubber one ends up slipping all over anytime I build up a sweat. If I try to tighten it enough to stay still, it ends up pinching and cutting off blood flow. I work in food service, so having to constantly readjust the position through my shift has been annoying. I also have slim wrists, and forums seem to say the "no gap" bands are to be avoided. You want that gap so the band can bend down from the mounting point to provide more wrist contact. In summary: This watch has been a super enjoyable addition to my health tracking, Samsung ecosystem, and just general gadgets I use on the daily. I love it! Still giving it 5 stars despite the effort I've had to put in to make everything work right for me, because the price is an absolute steal. I don't have money for a brand new smart watch, but this one still holds its own with the current market, from what I've gathered, and even provides better battery life than a lot of brand new watches.

The current prices being asked for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro represent an incredible value for this watch! I am a watch collector and prior to purchasing this watch used (in excellent condition) on Amazon, I owned almost every watch of interest that Samsung has produced. Somehow, I had missed the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. This watch is magnificent! I like it better than my Samsung Watch Ultra. Better than the Galaxy Watch 6 classic and better than any of the other Samsung watches that I own. It doesn’t have the glitz of the Watch Ultra but it has a clean, simplistic and quality look and feel that the Ultra just can’t match. Unlike most or all of the Samsung and many other smartwatches that I own this one simply does not seem to present any glitches or mishaps. Everything on this watch just seems to perform flawlessly! The band that comes with the watch looks great and is unbelievably comfortable. Loading music on this watch and arranging it in Playlists and or Albums is effortless. I might be just imagining this but I would swear that the sound quality coming from my earbuds when connected to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is better than anything else I’ve got! I paid Just over 80 dollars for this watch and received it in absolutely mint condition both functionally and atheistically. The watch in my opinion is absolutely the perfect size for most any size wrist. I won’t go into all the many functions of this watch but just know that it has all the watch functions that you would expect to find on any high-end Smartwatch. I’ve seen reviews for other Pro 5 watches on Amazon which stated that the watch they received was not in the excellent condition that it was advertised to be in. That said, I can tell you this: My seller was TheGadgetDeals and the watch they sent me was advertised in excellent condition and it was all that and more!!! If you are looking for a high-end Smartwatch that won’t break the bank and you don’t mind wearing a watch that is 3 or 4 generations old; you simply can’t go wrong with this one!!! Did I mention it comes with a 450 X 450 Amoled display and a Sapphire Crystal?! UPDATE: I spent a couple of hours installing all of the updates available which took it from Wear OS 3.0 all the way up to Wear OS 6.0 and now the watch is even better!!! Dennis

This smartwatch stands out for its premium, durable, and comfortable design on the wrist. The screen is sharp, the health sensors are quite accurate, and the battery life is excellent. Its interface is smooth and offers a wide variety of customizable watch faces. A highly recommended investment for tracking your activity.

I want to address two aspects of this purchase: 1) the product itself; and 2) the quality of the refurbished product. Starting with the second, I'm overall very happy with the refurbished quality. There are some obvious signs of wear, but it is on the underside, not visible while wearing. I can't comment on the waterproofing, as I'm not willing to test it out. While I expect there to be a certain amount of water resistance, I do not expect it to be fully waterproof. Functionally, it seems perfect. It was fully reset to factory settings - no old data. The battery life seems good. It lasts me around 3 days, which falls right into the average for this watch. For the price, this has been an excellent value. Concerning the quality of the watch itself, without regard to new or used status, there are some pros and cons. The cons have to do with compatibility with non-Samsung products. The product description makes it seem as if it will be fully compatible with all Android-based phones. This is simply not the case. I have the watch paired with a 2023 Motorola Edge. Firstly, there are some health features, such as the ECG, which are only available when paired with a Samsung device. Also, the watch's Weather app is not compatible with any weather app I've been able to download for my phone. Additionally, I am unable to add watch faces from the Galaxy Wearable app on my phone. However, they may be downloaded and installed directly from the Google App Store with no problem. The issues are mainly due to the differences in how the Galaxy and Motorola products communicate with one another. I had to spend a lot of time messing with permissions, location information, and other privacy and security settings - on both my phone and the watch - in order for it to basically work the way it's supposed to. For weather services, I simply downloaded another app - Weather XL - which works with both the phone and the watch. However, I don't think it will work with watch faces that display weather - I'm still trying to test that out. But ultimately, now that I have it set up it works well and is easy to use. There is definitely a learning curve here, but if you're willing and able to take the time to delve into the various features of the watch and the accompanying phone app, there are some very nice features. I only wish that the description would have noted the possible incompatibilities with non-Samsung products. For the price I paid for the refurbished product, this would not have deterred me from the purchase, but if I had paid the full retail price, I would have been a little upset. Overall, I think this is a very good watch. It looks good, fits well - neither too big nor too small - and contains most of the features I'd want in a watch.

Honestly looks brand new, aside from the packaging. I apparently misplaced my previous watch, so I grabbed a replacement from the same vendor. The included charger is likely not OEM, but it works perfectly. Sadly, it is too early in the morning for me to wax poetic about the many virtues of this device, so I'll just say that this vendor is safe to roll the dice and buy from, if they sell a renewed version of a device you seek. Both watches I've purchased from them have been 'like new' in every way.

Great little smart device. Tons of options. Calling and texting work fine. Beautiful display. Sleep monitoring is good, and the maps work too. I'm not a huge guy, but I can barely tell I'm wearing it. Make sure you look up at least one video before trying to connect the band that came with it. This was a learning curve for me, and I'm the type who usually just figures things out.

Battery is not amazing, but - after reading about the previous models, and being my first smartwatch, it seems clear that this is actually a huge improvement over prior models. Charging every other day is not so bad. ** [2024-04-20 update - closer to every 2 to 3 days, a pleasant surprise] ** It is occasionally a little flaky - there are times when the turn-of-wrist gesture goes totally unnoticed (the display is supposed to light up when you make the gesture to look at it) - but it usually works. When it doesn't, a simple tap is all it takes. The watch was very easy to figure out and make full use of. ** [2024-04-20 update - still occasionally fails to respond to turn-of-wrist, but - it makes up for it in just how well it _integrates_ with my smartphone. ***** [2024-04-20 update: The watch and phone (Samsung S23 FE) are just _so_ tightly coupled - any messages, emails, alerts, weather, etc.. can be set to forward to the watch - notifications [per app] can be toggled to show on the watch or not.. and for all of these, the watch has a "show on phone" button, to basically say "I'll deal with it on the phone", as well as dismiss or snooze options. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I'm very impressed by the way the two devices coordinate functionality. Dick Tracy has nothing on us in 2024. Very cool, lol. I find that the sleep analysis (which uses pulse fluctuations,, breathing, blood-oxygen level, skin-temp, etc..) for me, personally, is quite accurate. This probably varies from person to person, but it seems to be surprisingly accurate for me. ] ***** I especially like how you can customize the watch face, as well as download (and usually purchase for a buck or two) from a literal plethora* of custom watch faces. I purchased an aftermarket "armour" band for the watch, which was a pain to get the watch in to on the first try. I decided that, for comfort, the stock watch band is superior after all. Received in a white box with a aftermarket charger. Condition was okay not the cleanest so I had to to take a fine tip pick to clean out dirt from between the buttons and the case and inside the mic opening. There was also noticeable dirt on the back side between the sensor and the back of the case meet. Watch outer casing has some fading of the black finish that looks lome a dark brown finish either from regular contact with soap or toe hr cleaning solution while being worn. I purchased a spigen watch band and face protector band so it covers the case staining. Fridge recommendation after doing a through cleaning of the watch is to install the updates. There were about 6 separate updates that needed to be downloaded. Just keeping checking for updates after each install until it says you're up to date. If you use it as is before making updates there may be issues ao do those updates that way you can see how the watch performs and if there are any issues. Battery life on my watch is really good. I can wear it for 2-3 days before it gets to about 50% and then I throw it on the charge. I like that it connects to wifi so even if I'm away from the watch it will notify me on my phone when its fully charged even when its at home and I'm not at home. Charges pretty quick as well. So far I've been using it for a few weeks and haven't had any issues. Samsung pay works great so I don't need to pull my phone out. Ring notifications also show the image of who's at the door on the watch. Replying to text is convenient either typing or voice texting. Definitely a great deal for brand name watch that give you many features youll find on newer models without taking a big hit in your wallet. I am using it with a samsung z flip 6

No llegó en caja original de Samsung y el cargador es genérico, pero la realidad es que el reloj llegó en super buena condición, y realmente pareciera ser nuevo, sin ningún detalle estético como pueden apreciar. Llegó sin batería, y al momento de configurarlo se bajó muy rápido, pero es normal... No me arrepiento para nada, y al contrario, me alegra haber encontrado un producto de buena calidad y a tan buen precio

Al momento que lo compre me costo 3,100 pesos mexicanos, excelente producto por este precio, a dos semanas de uso trabaja excelente y al ser refubrished no tenia ni una sola marca de uso, no se si tuve suete pero he tenido buena experiencia con los equipos restaurados, tanto relojes y telefonos, lo adquirí porque tengo teléfono samsung, solo utilizo las principales funciones, y le dura poco la batería, por las mismas funciones que yo uso y una mejor autonomia prefiero un reloj de Huawei modelo GT, hará lo mismo y la batería les dura muchísimo, colecciono relojes y me gusta el diseño del galaxy watch, pero si solo quieres un reloj calidad, precio y autonomía, ve por un huawei gt

No he probado el reloj, pero la banda llegó rota, no sé si se pueda enviar una nueva o tengo que regresar todo el reloj ?

Al leer reseñas de este producto no sabía si tendría varios rasguños o golpes y afortunadamente el mío solo tuvo uno al costado y un pequeño rayón en la parte de abajo (sensor) y de ahí en fuera todo perfecto, la correa no se si es original pero funciona muy bien, no se desabrocha nunca y el cargador genérico pero carga muy bien y rápido. Recomiendo mucho este producto, diría que la estetica estaba de 9.8, la verdad resultó mejor de lo que esperaba. La batería funciona perfectamente, me dura mínimo dos días, máximo 3 días enteros.

El reloj está bien, a secas, las funciones que puedes esperar por el precio; pero la baja duración de la batería es un verdadero fastidio. Estar cargando el reloj 3 o 4 veces a la semana es nefasto, habiendo opciones de precio similar, con funciones iguales o mejores pero que la pila le dura casi 2 semanas, como el Huawei GT6 Pro. Si la duración de la batería es importante para ti, definitivamente no compres este reloj.
