Works well
Love it, just wish it came in different sizes so I could replace all my plastic syringes

Fab for blended diet,enfit compatible.
Hi tube feeding mum here.Pros, easy to clean, easy to push a blended smooth meal, will save lots of plastic syringes going to landfill. My 6 year old can feed himself with this syringe although the rings for pushing are rather large.Cons. For tube feeding we found when we needed to disconnect from extension set we were unscrewing the enfit adapter on the end of the syringe not helpful if like us during a meal you need to disconnect 5/6 times. You can't see air bubbles to ensure they are all removed. We found it a little messy as we can't scrape off after drawing up as easily as a plastic.

Didn't work out for me
My son is tube fed and, like many people, we were looking to reduce plastic waste. I used this exclusively for all my sons feeds for a week before going back to the plastics. I found it heavy and uncomfortable to use. You can't see if there are any air bubbles. The metal rings are uncomfortable and poorly finished (get some wet and dry to smooth them out). And there was too much stiction which just made it awkward to use (I cleaned the syringe and re-lubricated the o ring with olive oil after each use). Finally, this only holds 60ml, the plastic ones measure up to 60ml but you can easily get 70ml in them. It doesn't sound like much but that's added at least 1 extra refill per feed.

Great for feeding my small yorkie!
It's is a quality product, that I highly recommend. It is heavier than the plastic ones, so it do take some getting used to. I feel comfortable knowing I can clean and reuse over and over.

Fantastic syringe to fill bottles (but with lubricant/o-ring issues)
ORIGINAL REVIEWI make my own beauty products and one of my biggest issues is always to fill bottles...I tried all kinds of plastic syringes, small and large, specialized and not, but found them all very hard to work with (especially given the viscosity of my products, which are mostly lotions and serums). All took great effort to fill/dispense, were impossible to use after a while because they got stuck, were difficult to clean and not durable. This syringe changed my life! It's fills and dispenses with NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER (with one hand!), regardless of how thin/thick your material is. The true-to-volume graduated line makes it easy to see what you're dispensing at a time, up to 2 fl. oz. (60 ml), and it's very easy to clean as all pieces come apart for easy and quick hand washing.Construction seems durable (time will tell).I find that I had to clean the inside before each use during the first few uses as there was some black residue inside, but I believe it's because the syringe was still new. Boiling or sterilizing might be an option to ensure it's as clean as possible before the first use.Update (12/4/18): After about three "filling sessions", my syringe became completely impossible to pull/push. Apparently, the black residue inside the tube is some kind of lubricant. Once gone, the syringe will not work with the original o-ring as it is too thick to be used without lubricant. After much searching and trial & error, a plumbing 1-1/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" o-ring solved my problem. It's a different size than the original o-ring, but it allows the syringe to be pulled/pushed easily. On the plus side, 1-1/8" x 7/8" x 1/8" o-rings are 10 times cheaper than the original o-ring or its identical replacement. For my use (filling bottles with lotion/facial serum), this syringe is still the perfect piece of equipment. I've taken one star off the original review because of the black lubricant inside the tube, and the fact that the original o-ring only will work as long as the inside of the tube is lubricated with the original black lubricant (which I don't want in my lotions/serums, and you certainly don't want in your food!)CML

Life saver for bolus feeds
We LOVE this syringe! It works so great for bolus feeds, flushes, meds, etc. Easy to wash and reuse. You just need to add a little oil to help the plunger glide through. Great communication from the sellers as well! We have had this syringe Since October of 2018 and had no issues with the O-rings. We use a little oil each time and no issues. We use this syringe 3 times a day and it has been great.
