The idea was to use this at the baby shower. I bought nontoxic paints and the guests all wrote little messages to the baby, or decorated it. I wondered if people would even want to do it, but they had a great creative time! It also gave the mommy and daddy a reminder of those that came to the baby shower. These are good quality blocks, smooth and perfect for little hands. I'm a sucker for anything with a container to put them in for storage.

They were a little smaller than one would have thought of these blocks but it worked great for a 2-year old hands. The bag they came in was probably the best part. He loved putting the blocks in the bag more than building with them. They are a nice, basic set of blocks for little ones to play with.

I got these blocks for my six-year-old grandson to play with. We have a bunch of oblong wooden blocks that we already build many, many things with. He was so excited when he saw the different shapes and sizes of these ones because now we can build serious castles and such. The blocks have a nice, smooth finish and come with a sturdy container with a handle and secure lid, along with a cloth bag to keep them in. I'm sure we'll get hours of fun out of these blocks.

I anticipated the blocks to be bigger than they are. Reviewers say that they are great for little hands however that makes them a choking hazard. I think most 3 year olds would get frustrated with these because they aren't as easy to stack and build without strong fine motor skills. Good quality blocks. I wish the description would give the size of the blocks.

Purchased for a craft project for all the kids at a baby shower. The kids drew pictures and wrote little notes on the blocks for when the baby is old enough to play with them. The blocks where a little smaller then what i was expecting but i wasn't disappointed.

We ordered these blocks for our 3 yr. old granddaughter for Christmas. The blocks, themselves, are as advertised as far as smoothness, solid wood and a nice size/weight for little hands. However, whether it was Amazon's horrible packaging or the suppliers, ToysnGamesEtc., the cardboard container for the blocks was missing the lid and the sides of the pail were crushed. I counted the blocks to make sure they were all there and did find 42 of them, however, not in the shapes shown on the pail. You can NOT make the 42 piece castle shown on the pail, nor in the instruction booklet inside the container. It is missing the thin square shaped blocks, along with the gum drop shapes. While this may be a small thing to the supplier, when children see instructions to make something and the items are missing, it is very frustrating and disappointing. Think LEGOS without all the parts!

I used these as an activity to make blocks for a baby shower for a baby boy on the way! Fun activity - guests were asked to color with non-toxic markers! Blocks were small but a nice selection!

Great for my toddler. He loves blocks, and these are a good size to practice his fine motor skills and carry around. They're a good quality as well. I didn't know they also came in colors - I probably would have gotten the colored set if I knew. But these are still good little blocks.
