As a Comp Sci student who had 3 code textbooks, several humanities books, an iPad, and a laptop (all with their respective chargers), this backpack was a miracle. It holds so much and distributes the weight to keep your back from dying after one day.The material is sleek and a person who has spilled their water in the bottom of the bag a few too many times, it dries very quickly.The cupholders/mesh holders on the side fit everything. As I am typing this, it has my wallet, a can of Sprite, my keys, two nail polishes, a pencil, erasures, and a button. It makes quick storage very easy, and I can confidently say that nothing just falls out.The pockets inside make organization and storage of everything you need to carry, which is super helpful for someone who needs to carry a lot of items.If you need to keep your laptop safe, then the laptop pouch is ideal. There is a plush material (I am guessing it is some type of styrophone) that cushions your device, which is ideal for when you accidentally drop your bag or it falls off a chair.I am thoroughly impressed by the bag and plan to use it until I can't anymore. It is very sturdy, which is wonderful since I am not the most careful person sometimes, so if it survives with me, then it will survive with you.If you have any questions, I would happily answer seeing that this bag is my ride or die at this point.

I just got this, but I looked it over carefully. I have a couple of smaller bags, and needed something larger for an extended trip, and this is very large. I ordered the 17 inch, which is overall 19 inches in height on the outside. There was only one review to evaluate this, a good one, but not a lot to go on. But this thing has so many sections and pockets! 3 main sections, the laptop pocket is nicely padded and looks like it will fit almost anything. Their is a huge main pocket, and one other large pocket. Then their are the multiple zippered pockets, including one in the back, one pretty large zippered pocket in the front, 3 other smaller pockets in the front, and an inside zippered pocket. There are several of the electronic/USB hook up thingies, I have no need for them, maybe others do. It is made of thick, durable-looking material, nice tough zippers, and seems really well-made. As I said, I just got this, but it appears like it was built to last. Have not tried it out in the rain, maybe I should shower with it? Probably not, but the material is thick and looks strong. Put a bunch of heavy objects in it, and like the previous reviewer noted, it is comfortable and easy to wear. But it is large, and I am a pretty large guy, it is perfect for me, but not sure if it is appropriate for more casual use and lighter needs.
