I used both sewn together to make a floor mat for my granddaughters play room. I filled the pillow with high loft batting. You can see how it is made on YouTube- go to Sew Very Easy Mat. The woman gives complete directions and they are easy. Just make sure you cut the filling to the exact size so it fits nice and snub in the pillow. It really is an easy project. If you do it slowly and follow the directions it makes a wonderful gift. When my granddaughter is tired on playing she can take a nap on this mat project and it is comfortable providing you use the high loft. Do go and the the directions on YouTube, any beginner sewer can follow the directions and make this mat pillow which is about 47 by 38. Again, I bought two fabrics from Amazon but each one is a different pattern. It is then reversible with different patterns.
