Workman Indestructibles: Hear the Sounds (High Color High Contrast)

All of my babies have had these books at some point and loved them. We have them all over the car and house. Definitely recommend! It’s also an easy and cute gift for a baby shower.

We love these books. They are literally indestructible. Super light weight so they make the perfect travel book, you can use them as a bath toy when traveling as well. We keep a few of these in the diaper bag, a few in the car and a few in our church bag. We have 8 of these and will purchase more!

This book has the high contrast black-and-white theme. It is a great indestructible book that can be washed and chewed on. I also like it for car rides. The book is extremely lightweight but fun to toss in a bag and take where it’s needed. It’s made with families with kids in mind. I find the concept to be absolutely genius. I appreciate that the price is affordable and the book can really hold up. There is a huge collection to choose from too so there is something for every baby’s interests.

This book was not at all what I expected. It arrived looking like a flimsy paperback. I am one of those people who order hardcovers so at first I really wasn't impressed. I read it to my toddler and it was a very basic text about different sounds you could hear. The pictures were colorful with contrast. The featured babies had pretty diverse skin tones. And I appreciated that there was a dog instead of a pig squishing in the mud. My daughter read the book and scratched at a page, no damage. I showed my husband this supposedly indestructible book and he tried and could not rip it. I was finally impressed. There is also a huge library of different books and themes for the indestructible brand. I think I might be joining this cult finding. I like the indestructible concept. These are also light weight to carry in the diaper bag, keep in the car etc. My one and only concern is, what are they made of? Is it an animal product? Since we are a porcine free family I'd be more comfortable knowing the source.

This book is great to put in front of your kid to get them started with reading. The illustrations are very colorful and pop off the page. This book is very thin but it is made of a plastic type material that is resistant to wear and tear. The way my toddler treats things I would was expecting this book to be destroyed but it has held up well.
