SO MUCH BETTER THAN BLUE YETI
I had the fancy blue yeti mic stand that was "designed to fail" because they had plastic and metal gears interact. THIS HAS NONE OF THOSE PROBLEMS. This mic stand works PERFECTLY. It's so nice and strong and holds my blue yeti with a stabilizer and a wind shield.

A Game-Changer for Streamers: Mic Arm Desk Mount Delivers Quality and Versatility
I recently purchased the Mic Arm Desk Mount, Low Profile Boom Arm, and it has completely transformed my streaming experience. This mic arm offers a remarkable combination of functionality, durability, and convenience that has exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features of this mic arm is its low profile design. It seamlessly integrates into my workspace without taking up too much space or obstructing my view. This allows me to maintain a clean and clutter-free setup, which is crucial for my streaming setup. The adjustable boom arm is another feature that I absolutely love. It allows me to position my microphone exactly where I need it, whether I'm recording a voiceover, streaming gameplay, or participating in live conversations. The smooth and precise adjustments ensure that my microphone stays in place and captures my voice accurately. The detachable rise column is a brilliant addition to this mic arm. It enables me to switch between different configurations effortlessly. Whether I want a low-profile setup or need to raise the microphone to accommodate various recording setups, the detachable column provides the flexibility I need. It's incredibly easy to attach and detach, thanks to its sturdy build and secure locking mechanism. The built-in cable management system is a true lifesaver. It keeps my cables organized and tangle-free, reducing any potential interference or distractions during my streams. This feature not only adds to the neat appearance of my setup but also helps maintain a professional and polished look, which is essential for content creators.Furthermore, the mic arm's build quality is good. It feels solid and robust, providing me with confidence that it will securely hold my microphone in place.Overall, this desk mount mic arm has truly impressed me with its outstanding performance and versatility. It has greatly improved the quality of my audio recordings and live streams while maintaining an organized and professional appearance.

Incredible build quality and tolerences
This thing is built like a tank!Pros:- As the title says, it's built incredibly well, the tolerences are amazing!- It's versatile. You can choose the way you want it deployed, with the extra tall arm, with out it, or in which section you want the height-arm to be added.- It hold's up fairly heavy microphones (Rode NT1A + it's shock mount + pop-filter). Although, I probably wouldn't try using it for something like the Electrovoice RE20.- Super easy to swing the mic in and out of positions when you're ready to record and when you're done recording.Cons:- Although the build quality is really great for the arm itself, it isn't the same for the cable cover below.I had the tabs on mine breakoff while trying to install the arm. They are made of plastic and are kind of flimsy.- The mounting mechanism for the microphone/shockmount is a tad finnickey, as you have to exert a lot of force to tighten and secure it, so your microphone doesn't come loose and "swing down".Overall, it's well worth it's price and I would likely not get any other arm for my use case.

Pretty good. Cardful of the plastic pieces, flimsy.
Boom arm is pretty good. Swivel end needed some tape to help it grip, and plastic cord keeps are very flimsy and broke.

This is GREAT! Do not cheap out on mic arms!
I first bought a crane style mic arm, the ones that are over the top. It was a cheap $18 one and it was so cheaply made that it wouldn't be worth it even if it was $5.I quickly returned that and decided to search for a different style of mic arm, so decided the 'low profile' style was the best as it's out of the way and it doesn't block your view in anyway. I originally was going to buy the $99.99 Elgato low profile mic arm but the price seemed too high. So decided on this XTech mic arm that was on sale at the time for $69.90.The quality is fantastic! The movement is pretty smooth, it holds up my mic (q2u) fine and the cable management is a huge plus! The small screws that keep the arm pipe sections in place are VERY small, so be very careful if you are trying to get them out. If they slip out of your hand, they will be very hard to find on the floor! (It happened to me and it took me a good 5 minutes to find it!)The mic holder part swivels and can basically be placed in any direction that you want. The mic arm in general can go in any direction. Both sections of the mic arm can swivel 360 degrees, the 'top' part can go up and down too by the way.I give this a 5/5, but I will say and this shouldn't really deter you from buying this because it is a great mic arm that will last years, but I truly wouldn't pay the base price of $99.90 for this. It's great, but at the end of the day it's just a mic arm. Again, I bought it on sale when it was $69.90 and even that was a lot of money! The market for mic arms is really strange; if you cheap out and buy something that's less than $30, you really get the worst trash imaginable, but if you spend between $70-120, you get an amazing mic arm. It's just weird.
