This is a an amazing product not only can used for making ice cream freeze . But has other great ways use rock salt,Wellness and Household: Used in bath salts for skin care, in salt lamps (purported to release negative ions), and for cleaning, such as clearing rust or scouring pans

Works Like It Should
This is the only salt I've used in my new ice cream maker, but it seems to do the trick. I ordered this because it seemed like a good value compared to other brands, and it came with a good size bag. I was able to do 2 batches of ice cream with it.

Great value for the size of the bag. I used this to make ice cream by putting it with the ice around the drum of the ice cream maker. It works well and was easy to use. The salt crystals are of a good quality for ice cream making, but I have not used it for anything else.
