Stuck ours to the side of a bathroom sink unit and it is very secure. Seems like it would stick to any dry, clean, smooth and hard surface. **Q: What is the length of the part that attaches to the wall please?** A: The size of the part attached to the wall is: 13 × 4cm The size of the towel rail is: 19.6 × 4cm **Q: Does this hold a bath sheet?** A: Not even close. It holds my lightweight bath mat, folded in half along it’s length. It’s fallen off though so I would no longer recommend this product for a bathroom. **Q: Do you get a Right And Left hand version ??** A: It's just one version which you can attach with the open end on the left or right as you require. It's finished the same all the way around so you can choose. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No use on ceramic tiles. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 October 2025* The basic towel holder is ok and the size we wanted, arrived reasonably quickly easy to fix. Those are the good bits.Now the bad, it will not stick to ceramic tiles or in fact anything ceramic. The tiles were clean, stuck for a couple of days, fell off the wall, tried the side of the sink, couple of days, it fell off. Sticky backing tape now felt as if it had no adhesive power. So, bright idea, scrupulously clean the tiles again, dry with hair dryer, then the master stroke, heat the adhesive tape with the hair dryer. Tape got really sticky again so I thought I’m onto a winner here. Stuck it to the tile again, couple of days, yes you guessed it, it fell off the wall again. The towel holder will not even support the weight of a 300mm x 300mm multi purpose drying cloth. So about as much use as a chocolate teapot. In the end removed the original backing tape completely. To discover a badly finished area where there were high spots on the surface, whether this had any thing to do with the rail constantly falling off the tiles will never know. Anyway sanded the rough area off and replaced the original tape with number plate sticky strips. Cleaned the tiles and dried them with a hair dryer. End result, stuck and tried to remove the rail it did not come off. So I am now changing my review to 5 star, not because it’s any good but as a warning to let people know that the product is defective in so many ways, it’s not worth the hassle. Update, number plate sticky tapes didn’t work, it fell of again. So I decided to drill holes in the back plate and then drilled holes into the grout line of the tiles, plastic rawplug and a 90 degree screwdriver and plastic covers on finally job done. Final note had to use a tungsten tipped drill to make the holes in the backplate. I marked the position carefully to ensure it was straight before using the sticky pad provided to put it in place. No towel was put on it until the next day at which point I noticed the end of the holder had come away from the wall. I pressed it back into place and gave it another couple of hours before replacing the towel - it has been fine since then.
