ESR for 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger w/CryoBoost, Made for Apple-Certified

The fan is quiet enough I don't notice it. Charges quickly. Fans help mitigate the heat from charging. The only times the phone has gotten hot is likely from being in front of vents when the heat is on. The magnets provide a strong hold. Possible sqeak from the ball socket on bumpy roads but I'm using a different mount so it could be there mount rather than the socket causing the sqeak. 17mm back socket so it can use any other mount using the same ball size

I have used multiple AC vent mounted chargers. Here are two things that very good about this mount.1. Steadiness / No vibration - Unlike other mounts, this doesnt vibrate crazy with the heavy weight of iPhones. Its pretty strong with the 17 Pro but has slight movement with the 17 Pro Max.2. Magnet Strength - It is strong! I have a ESR clear case and I need to pry the phone away from this charger!!What I Like:* There are 2 USB-C Port on the 12v connection. It helps to have the passenger charge their phone too!* The nice LED light, very helpful in the night time to locate the charger to put the phone on!* Charges both 17 Pro and Pro Max without any hassle.What I dont like* Wish the USB-C cable was little longer. Now it is possible the price will go up because of that, understandable. But for some vehicles manufacturers start moving the cig lighter socket to different locations far from the AC vent!! Also because it is small, its not that easy to hide the wire!* The clip that you hook on with is sooo tight and handle is small! I understand this is the reason why the hold is strong and stable. But atleast the handle could be tad longer or fatter. I can see folks with weaker hands (like me) finding it difficult to put this on to the vent!

I like the phone holder. It does not as well as i would have liked in my 2014 Subaru b cause of where the vents are. but it works much better than anything else I have tried. I really like that it is a charger as well

The best, most stable, easy to setup, and reliable phone holder I’ve used. Magnet is very strong. Works perfectly for my iPhone mag case and the phone doesn’t move at all once attached. Very stable.

EDITED: Extremely overpriced for something that doesn’t actually work as advertised.Bought two and forgot to return them as I wanted to test them out and see how much better they’d be than just a plain MagSafe charger in the car and now I’m stuck with $200 worth of chargers that are barely worth $20.Why?These don’t actually charge any faster than an original Apple MagSafe charger. I have a 2 hour commute every week where my phone is usually between 20-30%. The original MagSafe charger attached to the phone tucked away using wireless CarPlay, Waze, and Apple Music would charge to about 95% by the time I reached my destination.This one? Same thing. Sometimes less. The cooling function IN THEORY should charge it faster but it doesn’t. End of story.I’ve tried everything but it honestly does not make any difference whatsoever. The phone only felt cooler because it mounts to a vent with ice cold air running to the back of it. Fan or not the phone would’ve been cold either way in that location.My other issues with it?-The vent clip and stabilizer jiggles way too much. The phone only stays somewhat secure because of the certified MagSafe charger’s magnets but even those aren’t as strong as Apple’s official charger. A huge bump though and I’m sure my phone would go flying.-it can ONLY be used at 9v/3a which seriously limits what type of chargers you can use with it. I’m not sure why that’s the only combination that can be used for it but it should have had other options for different ports/chargers/etc. You’re going to be forced to use either their provided charging plug or find one that has that very specific voltage/current specs.-the gaudy blue lights. I’m sure it’d look very cool to children but it looks terrible in an unassuming interior especially when you consider the dang charger included with it also has the same blue lights.-the design could have been simpler and there should have been more color options. It doesn’t look bad and the grey is a fairly neutral choice but in an interior that’s all black it sticks out way too much especially with the white magnet pads. I don’t know if that was an Apple requirement or not but I’ve seen other certified MagSafe chargers that didn’t have that. This could have been similar.TL;DR: Overall, I would not buy this. It’s extremely overpriced, it doesn’t actually work any better than a normal MagSafe charger from Apple, the mount leaves a lot to be desired and the design of it sticks out too much. Oh, and I forgot to mention the magnets are just okay. They don’t seem to stick quite as strong as the official Apple MagSafe charger for some reason despite having a certified one. Odd.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S24+ but have a case with the MagSafe ring on the back. I replaced an older car mount that stopped charging. I have a full sized Silverado truck, so it has a very stiff ride that is brutal over rough roads, and was surprised by how well this magnetic hold worked... phone did not move.The cig-lighter power adapter and cable that comes with it works great, but I use a power adaptor that allows me to connect Bluetooth devices to my older truck's non-Bluetooth stereo, so I had to get a new one of those that supported the higher wattage requirements of this charger (which was fine, as it was time to upgrade it anyways). I ended up getting the "Syncwire Bluetooth 5.4 FM Transmitter Car Adapter 54W (PD 36W & 18W)" adaptor.I did end up using some pliers to carefully tighten the plastic nut on the back of the mount, because finger tight could not get it tight enough for the ball joint to not allow the phone to move (typically down due to the weight of the phone). But after tightening it as tight as I dared with pliers, it holds well now.If I had any suggestion for improvement from the manufacturer, it would be to improve the ball joint mounting system (perhaps rubberize the ball and socket) so finger tightening it would be sufficient to hold today's monster phones secure.

クリップ式で固定するので小口の送風フィンにも取り付けられます。マグネットの強さも強すぎず取り外しも簡単です。運転中に落下するようなことはなさそうです。通常のマグセーフカバーなら充電は問題なくできると思いますがスタンド機能等付いている少し厚めのカバーだとうまく充電出来ないので注意が必要かと思います。実際スタンド機能付カバーを一度買って失敗しました。カバーの問題なのでこの商品自体は使い勝手がいいと思います。

I bought this for my mother and she was over the moon!I installed it in her car for her iPhone 12 and am very tempted to get one for myself!The magnet is super strong so i know this wont be going anywhere. I have the previous version in my own car and the fan sound is noticeable. This version, it is not at all, yet the phone is still nice and cool even after being on charge for some time! It might not be the first thing you think about, but the product also comes with a dual usb c charging socket which is excellent to have a spare port, and it comes with a premium quality charge cable.if i had to make one small criticism, it would be against apple and not ESR. the item does not work with other phones even if they have a magsafe ring.The price is not insignificant for sure, but the quality and extra items included make it a great purchase.I would definitely recommend this product over other magsafe chargers due to the fan for cooling the phone down and the higher charge speeds.

Very good build quality and fast charges as advertised, a bit too pricey and looks a little bulky due to the white center looks, a darker shade in the center would have looked much better…. However does the job as expected and is very light in weight due to the aluminum built.
