Hot stuff
I spent a lot of time reviewing radiators and made the right choice- it did take me a while to understand the settings - but once I did I realised how easy and logical it was. Everything’s work great.

Kicks out the heat and looks fantastic.
Great design, high quality and really kicks out the heat. Heater is heavy and sturdy so a two person job to fit to the wall. Once on though looks fantastic.

Radiator Leaks
Item was delivered, installed, and tested before winter (2025-2026) arrived. Couple of months into the cold spell when temperatures were at or close to 0c I noticed a small puddle underneath the radiator. Wiped it not realising it was the radiator leaking, only to find a puddle forming underneath again the following day. Turned the panel upside-down which shows aged oil around what appears to be poor soldering (photo 1). But another week after that it has caused an even greater mess on my floors (photo 2). Not a cheap radiator, so really disappointed it lasted barely a few months. My previous Elpe oil filled radiator died on me as well but that at least lasted a few years, and unlike this Futura radiator, it did not end up taking a leak everywhere like an untrained puppy.

Doesn't hold heat
Compared to my stand alone dimplex which is 20 years old, this loses heat quickly. Nice design though.

This futura eco 2000w electric wall heater definitely has the capability for the warmath. To HEAT .just set it up i have it on 18.5.the best thing about it is it self adjust it self.the room is in a comfortable temperature. All night.

Crackling Noise
Looking at the good reviews, I have bought 4 of these radiators last year (600W, 900W, 1500W, 1800W) as I have no gas supply to my flat. I have no complaints about their performance. However, they all make a strong crackling noise for 30 minutes after they are turned on and for at least 30 minutes after they are turned off. This is very uncomfortable, especially for the one installed in the bedroom as it doesn't allow me to sleep, for instance when I set up a timer to warm the room up before I wake up. Considering that my flat is poorly insulated, I will need to replace them for next winter... I'm sorry to admit that they have been a waste of money for me...
