Vacuum Adapter for Dewalt Sanders to Festool hose - Superior Dust Collection - Galactic Gadgets (Festool 27mm - Black)

This works perfectly for my DeWalt orbital sander (DWE6423). Fit tightly on both sander and 1-1/18" vacuum hose. Great product

When I needed a replacement pad I almost bought a new sander. I found this and it was easy to validate it was a perfect fit for my sander. Works great and strong holding Velcro.

I have purchased several of these. They fit my various DeWalt tools like a charm and make it easy to use standard 2.5" shop vac connections. I have even found use for these on some non DeWalt tools and connections. I hate the fact that dust collection is such a PITA as everyone wants to use slightly different sizes of hoses, connectors, etc. This made that miserable process a lot easier for many of my tools.

I ordered this adapter, and it fits perfectly for my Dewalt tools and my shop vac. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one a day later. When the second one arrived, it was misshapen and out of tolerance. It wouldn't fit either of my tools or my shop vac. The seller is sending a replacement right away. Stay tuned for my update. Well, the second replacement arrived. It, too, was deformed and slightly out of tolerance. It was better than the second one, but it still didn't fit either of my tools or vacuum. I'm not ordering a fourth one. The seller was very diligent about responding to my concerns.

Get good 3M mesh sandpaper and a dust collection system (shop vac with filtration bag) and barely creat any dust. Used it to sand trim lrojects in the home and didnt create a giant dust mess. Comfortable on the hand during use.

The adapter fits onto the tool nicely, but the Festool hose end does not. It is pretty lose and can pop off the adapter easily so you have to continually keep pressure at the connection point or it comes out. The instructions say to twist it and you can feel where it does engage, but, because the fit is so lose it doesn't take much for the hose end to pop off. And, it is too expensive for that poor of a fit.

I have been using this for almost a year. It connects with both my Rigid shop vac standard hose and dust collector. Stays connected when you want it to and also easily disconnects when you want it to.

Very disappointed. It never fit well (joining a Festool vacuum with a DeWalt orbital sander). And has degraded significantly. This part appears to be 3D printed with poor construction and a compound that does not do well over time. I don't leave my tools in the sun, but this adapter distorted significantly over a short period, and has begun to separate due to poor 3D printing adhesion. Really disappointed. 'Now unusable. No use for this. Duct tape works better and is far cheaper. .
