THE ENTIRE FIN TO YOUR TOE SHOULD FLEX ABOUT 45% SO YOU PUSH WATER BEHIND YOU WHICH DRIVES YOU FORWARD, WITH A FIN THAT IS TOO STIFF, PUMPING YOUR LEGS JUST PUSHES WATER UP AND DOWN AND YOU DON'T GO ANYWHERE... WELL MADE BUT THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR RUBBER FORMULA TO SOMETHING MORE FLEXIBLE. THE CRESSI RONDINELLA IS A BETTER DESIGNED FIN.

I accidentally got a half size too small, but I was still able to fit them on. They were snug but they didn't hurt my feet, and I felt more secure while swimming. Make sure you remove the plastic piece while using. I also like the drawstring bag they come with, you can fit some more gear in it with the flippers.
