Created by the original artists behind the Lord of the Rings trilogy’s physical effects, it captures Gollum’s complex character with film-accurate detail. Perfectly sized for display, this high-quality resin piece is a must-have for discerning fans and collectors seeking authentic Middle-earth memorabilia. ## Description The Lord of the Rings trilogy won seventeen Academy Awards. Weta Workshop was inherently involved in designing and manufacturing physical effects for all three films. Perfectly sized for easy display and ideal for any desk or shelf, this Gollum miniature statue, digitally sculpted by Bawal Saggi, will make a great addition to your Weta Workshop miniature collection It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt the model, mold, and paint the prototype of each new piece in Middle-earth. Whether it's an accessory replica, a beautiful environment, or an iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work. A creature transformed by the power and influence of the single ring, Gollum's obsession and isolation left him with a faded envelope of his former self, resigned to the lonely fate of an outcast—his forever twisted personality. Though an unlikely travel companion, Gollum leads Frodo and Sam through the back and forgotten paths of Middle-earth, invisible to Sauron's eyes. Under the guise of serving his new "master", they escape the powers of Mordor, if only to be led to territories of unknown and questionable danger. Servile before his companions, the miserable creatures schemes and plots in the shadows, to find his lost treasure: his "precious". Features: Made of high quality polystone Height: approx. 9 cm. Depicting Gollum's twisted and corrupt personality Resting among the ruins in the woods of Ithilian Made with reference to the original scans and images of the film. Our replicas of authentic and collectible accessories are designed by the same artists who worked on all three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth. - Richard Taylor – CEO & Co-founder, Weta Workshop 14-99 Years Country of Origin: China *Note: Images are a pre-production prototype.
