A SMALL (3.4 to 4.7 ounces) cup of average coffee. Mild aroma. Smoky, not chocolate, notes.
HARUFO - Pack of 10 Drip Coffee Bags - Super Specialty Single Serve Pour Over Coffee (Bourbon)3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4. The box I received looked as expected and inside were ten individually wrapped, dark brown plastic packets. No origin information is listed. Scissors are needed to open these outside packets but I was able to use my hands to tear off the inside coffee filter bag tops. It’s an awkward set up unless you have a smaller rimmed cup. The filter bag isn’t wide enough to easily sit on a traditional cup like it should; I had to bend/work it (not how I think it was designed) so that it would work with the first larger rimmed, double-walled glass I tried. Each bag makes a SMALL cup (3.4 to 4.7 ounces) which is subtly stated only in the images in the listing. This info should be highlighted in the text as I can see people adding too much hot water, making the coffee extremely weak. The directions on the box only state to add 100 to 140 ml of hot water, ounces are not provided. The “intense aroma”, highlighted in the listing, was nothing special. I didn’t get chocolate notes at all, but it’s possible that’s just me.The first cup of coffee I made (I added just under 4.7 ounces of water) was okay but nothing special. The coffee was the right strength for me plain and I could drink it with just a little sweetener. It tasted like a medium roast Arabica to me and wasn’t noticeably acidic or bitter. The caffeine level was as expected. For my second cup I made the coffee in our smaller rimmed mugs (that we usually use for cocoa) and added less water (3.5 ounces) to increase the strength because I wanted to add warmed, frothed soy milk. I ended up adding too much milk (it’s such a small amount of coffee!) that I made an additional cup to add to my drink. With this second, larger cup I noticed a smokiness. Still no chocolate. So, if you want to use this type of drip system (I can see it for camping) and are okay with a smaller cup of coffee (or are willing to make two cups for one drink) and you have a smaller rimmed cup that will work with these filter bags, this will work. However, this coffee is more expensive when you consider the smaller cups that you’re making.I’m assuming the “F 06 04 23” marking on the box I received in July 2023 is the manufactured date and the “V 06 04 24” marking is the expiration date. Made in Brazil.

Acai doesn't go with coffee....just ok coffee but not great
This is ground coffee with acai fruit powder added, enough that I can taste the tart tannins of the acai berry. And that's the problem here: acai is great in a lot of food and drink but coffee is not one of them. Acai is a sour, fruity, slightly astringent powder when concentrated and, well, do you drink your orange juice and your coffee in the same cup in the morning? I didn't think so. Granted, this isn't so much fruit powder that it's undrinkable but it definitely lowers the flavor quality of the coffee and this coffee isn't super high end to start with.I love the brew bags for this product. They're great for travel when you're attached to pour over but want to be able to do it away from home without all your "stuff". These are individually sealed so they stay fresh longer and you can take only the amount of cups you need for a trip.Unfortunately, while the packaging is great, the coffee itself is not. It's not even organic which is a big deal now since coffee isn't as clean a crop as it used to be. As such, this coffee doesn't match the higher pricetag and I can find similar travel size bags of much higher quality, better tasting coffee for the same price. The added acai isn't enough to improve your health or add something you really need and I would rather get my acai in a non-coffee product.(For those who read labels and are confused by the high calorie count on this coffee, it's not 60 calories per cup. They got that wrong. It's 10 max. They added up 4 calories per gram of all the fiber in both coffee and acai along with trace carbs and protein and this doesn't provide more than about a gram of protein, a gram of carbs, and very little fiber in a brewed cup. It simply doesn't have that much acai in each bag and the calorie count came from the legal requirement to list certain things that just aren't in this. That's the short answer but trust me on this as a very advanced calorie and nutrition fiend: this isn't 60 calories so you can rest easy. There are also no added ingredients like sugar or creamer, just coffee and less than a teaspoon of acai powder.)

Delightfully tasty (Bourbon roast)
This is a pleasantly smooth cup of coffee in a biodegradable, single use pour over contraption. The convenience is a big part of the appeal, and the price. You get 10 individually-wrapped (that bit seems non-biodegradable) coffee filters filled with a nice light roast coffee. All you have to do is pop open the side wings, set it on the top of your mug with the text up, gently open the top, and pour in hot water. Boom! Good coffee. It takes a few more minutes than my regular pour over contraption, but this is much better for travel. You can just toss a couple of packets in your bag and you've got your coffee for a few days.So it's pricey if you just go by the cup. $1.50 for made at home is steep by my standard, but on the road that's less than half of a black coffee at Starbucks.Totally worth it.Grown in Brazil.

Great for travel
The drip coffee bags are excellent for travel, especially considering most hotel rooms have small mugs and access to hot water. Additionally, there is a distinct fruity note from the açaí powder, adding a unique flavor to the coffee.
