Born in Roma Donna Eau de Parfum - Floral Ambery Womens Perfume

My wife absolutely loved this perfume! The scent is elegant, pleasant, and lasts a long time. She was very happy with it, and it has quickly become one of her favorites. Great purchase!

When I first applied this fragrance, I’ll admit, I was disappointed a bit. I thought it was loud, obnoxious, and quite frankly, I thought it smelled cheap. But within maybe 5 minutes, things settled a bit, and it’s genuinely so addicting. I cannot stop smelling my wrists and reapplying throughout the day. I’ve been now layering it on top of a subtle vanilla lotion and a vanilla body mist and the combination is heavenly. I never would’ve thought to mix these scents, as this perfume is fairly floral and fruity. I’m a firm believer that perfume should be a reward for intimacy and not a punishment for proximity, and this one hits that mark in a way I am having trouble finding words for. This was a blind buy so I only got the small bottle, but I will absolutely be purchasing the largest size before this one runs out. This perfume is very feminine, sensual, elegant, and playful. I’d absolutely recommend.

I usually dislike hyped-up fragrances, but I tested Born in Roma while wandering around downtown one evening and was in love with it by the time I got home. It feels feminine and cheerful, just girly in the best way, and full of sunshine. The opening is sweet and sparkling, with jasmine wrapped in vanilla musk and warm, cuddly cashmere. The candied blackcurrant and pink pepper add a charming sweetness that makes the whole fragrance feel literally pink. Some reviewers say it's weak, but on me it lasts all day with a noticeable scent trail. When I first unboxed my bottle, I was disappointed because it smelled flatter than the tester. After letting it sit and macerate for a couple weeks, however, it bloomed into the scent I remembered and loved, and now I wear it frequently. I especially love wearing this in the winter, when its richness feels like a cozy hug against the cold. If you enjoy modern, sweet fruity-florals with a touch of depth and vanilla, Born in Roma is both comforting and uplifting. It's an easy reach for me on days when I'm not sure what to wear. The bottle is also quite decadent, all heavy glass with a great, even atomizer, a metallic cap that fits securely, and the thick plastic studs around the bottle neck.

When I started looking at a few review photos and reading the reviews, I got a bit nervous because I thought I might end up with a knockoff, but fortunately, I received the original product. Nothing was off about the packaging or the scent. I watched the fake vs real video on YouTube, and everything about it checks out.

Smell lasts all day long and I get compliments everywhere I go and constantly have people asking what perfume I’m wearing

This perfume smells really good but unfortunately it doesn’t last more than 1 1/2 hours or so without reapplying! The bottle is beautiful, it has little spikes running down it! The scent itself is floral but w/ a tangy note at the end. It was about average price for a designer travel perfume. The bottle size should be enough for a couple months of use. Super easy to throw in your purse & go! It’s also spray, not roll on, which I like better! Roll ons don’t apply as much perfume! Overall, it’s not my fave perfume but it’s pretty good so I’ll give it 4/5 stars. I’ll include pics!
