Bhuna spice pot is highly recommended for its taste but pricing not acceptable, double in price since my last purchase a few months ago

I used this to make a mint lamb bhuna. Packaging is like a tin of paint and behaves the same, hard to prise open and difficult to reseal 😆. Spiced don’t smell very strong except for an aniseed smell which continued to flavour the sauce. I had to put garam masala to mask it but hubby still tasted it. He ate it but said he wouldn’t have it again. (Too bad it’s too expensive to waste.). I’ll (try) and use what I’ve bought but I wouldn’t buy again. Not a lot of product either. I think most of the cost is the posh packaging. I expected more spice for the price. I was tempted to give this two stars but the product itself was actually good quality.

bought the set of spice pots last christmas for my niece,she recommended them,being as near a taste to a curry house as she had ever made from a recipe-without buying so many individual spice pots which are costly

Followed the instructions 2tsp per person for the two of us. Tasted of nothing so used another 4tsp. Ended up using half the tin. Very poor quality I will grind my own next time.
