Seems to work I tested it using a ScanDisk Extreme 64GB thumb drive. Read and write a bunch of pictures. Of course this is rated to 5GB per second and there is no thumb drive around that fast so my little test didn't tax the system at all. When I plugged the thumb drive directly to the USB 3.0 computer port and transferred a couple GB of photos the rate was 200 MB/s Write and Read. Pretty fast for a thumb drive. When plugged into a USB 2.0 port the speed was 30MB/S read and 25MB/s Write. I then used this cable. The USP port transferred at 195MB/s Read and Write and the USB 2 transferred at 25MB/s Read and write. So at the lower end of the performance criteria, this cable is pretty much transparent. It is hard to say what caused the 195MB/s reading. Now I don't have to stretch around under the table to get to the USB 3.0 port on the back of my tower. It seems well built too. I am happy for now.

Exactly what was needed. Product was needed to extend a powered USB device in several location. The product carries the 5volt without any voltage drop and has performed flawlessly for several days now. The length matched as described. The cable feels very nice and seems to be high quality. The price point for these were spot on and even a little cheaper than i expected but that does not take away from the performance or the testing that i have done. The device is compatible with Windows for my use and is very portable as it is short enough to be put into your bag and traveled with if needed. Signal quality as stated before is excellent with little to no voltage drop or signal loss as of this review. The thickness of this product is average to the industry and being plug and play make it very easy to use. Even includes a Velcro keeper for the cable as well.

I use on my playstation 4. I was having a problem where the bluetooth receiver for my headset was being interfered with the external hard drive plugged in right next to it. It would constantly cut out and flat out disconnect if I wasnt sitting right in front of the playstation. The ps4 only has those two usb ports so I couldnt move either one. I bought these hoping if I put some distance between the two the would work without suffering any performance dropoff. It worked like a charm! Highly recommend these.
