The texture feels light and gritty, which is exactly what you want for succulents and cacti since it drains quickly and doesn’t stay soggy after watering.I repotted several plants using this mix and noticed they adjusted pretty fast with no signs of overwatering or root stress. It also doesn’t have that strong chemical smell some soils have, which I appreciate when using it indoors.The bag was clean with very few large wood pieces, and I didn’t need to mix in extra perlite right away like I’ve had to do with other brands.
