Simple, Clean, Tastes great
I have been using protein powders regularly since college and daily for weight loss/ maintenance for 12 years. While price is definitely a purchase factor for me as a girl on a budget, I’m also becoming increasingly concerned about artificial sweeteners and unnecessary chemicals in products, and unnecessary ingredients in general. *** the pics attached you will see 1) the b&w label is NAKED and as you can see it is basically just protein 2) brown and red label is another top brand I do like but you can see all the extra *stuff* in there That’s just filler and fake chemicals sweeteners. So, when I switched to NAKED, it does lack the sweetness I’m used to . So for my personal taste, I add a dash of real sugar to it. But that is real, cane sugar- sugar. Also. I’ve added this powder to Greek Yogurt and that is yummy too. I’ve bough several canisters of this now and it’s my new preferred brand. Blends up ok in the shaker cup w blender ball. Definitely give it a try!!

No Artificial Sweetener
I was concerned ordering the 5 lb container because of all the negative reviews saying the container is partly empty, but I weighed it and there is definitely 5 lbs worth of powder in there. It weighed 5 lbs 10 oz unopened and the empty container weighs roughly 10 oz. All artificial sweeteners give me stomach aches, so I'm thrilled to have a chocolate flavored protein supplement without any artificial sweetener. I use a milk frother wand to mix this into milk, let it sit over night to let the milk froth settle, and it mixes well and tastes great, just like a light chocolate milk. No digestion issues, no clumping, very powdered texture. Very high quality. One thing to note, I exercise late in the day and noticed I had trouble sleeping if I drank the protein late in the day, so I switched to drinking it in the morning and haven't had any issues.

Protein with no garbage ingredients.
This is about as clean as a protein powder your going to find on Amazon and don't expect it to taste that great. I got chocolate and It doesn't have hardly any flavor but it does the job. Good ingredients. It's Protein with no garbage. I gave it a 4 star because of the price and lack of flavor. Probably buy it again as quick meal replacement for on the go.

Decent Protein, But Poor Mixing
Overall, this is a decent protein powder, but I wasn’t very impressed. The chocolate flavor is okay, although it’s a bit bland. My biggest issue was the mixing. I used a blender with water, almond milk, and regular milk, but each time I noticed a layer of sweetener settling at the bottom. After finishing my drink, there were leftover granules that tasted extremely sweet, making it seem like the sugar they use isn’t evenly mixed into the powder. On the positive side, digestion was excellent. I had no stomach issues, bloating, or discomfort. The protein content is exactly what I expected, and the calorie count fits well into my diet. The overall quality is good, but I think it could be better. Considering the price, only getting 12 servings doesn’t offer the best value compared to similar products. Because of the inconsistent mixing and average flavor, I wouldn’t personally buy it again or recommend it to others.

It's The Best I've Tried
I've tried a lot of different protein powders over the years, and all of them have sucked when it comes to drinking them. I bought the Naked partially because of the smaller size, and based on the reviews. I can't say how effective it is, as I just started it. But I wanted to address some of the complaints about it. There's varied opinions on the taste. (I got the regular chocolate.) Straight, it's flavor is not strong. It's there, but it's not overwhelming, which I think is a positive, since it leaves room for you to adjust it to your liking. I'm not worried having no sugar at all, so I put a Tbl spoon of Nesquick in it. It strengthens the chocolate flavor. A lot of people have an issue with the foaming and bubbles. This comes from not mixing it long enough. I use an immersion blender, and mix it for about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes, and it's turns out like a thick, shake like consistency. By mixing it longer it reduces the size of the air bubbles and incorporates it better into the mix. You need to work it, not just stick the wand in and hit the button. As you go, you'll see the bubbles smooth out as you go. You can not mix it with a spoon or a whip attachment. This stuff is like a wet concrete mix as soon as liquid hit is, and you need power to defeat that. Do it the way I do, and you should have no leftover mix at the bottom.

All natural with no unspecified ingredients.
Really 4.5. First, some caveats. No matter how soluble or "easy mixing" a protein drink claims to be, I always use a blender. Manually shaking any powder will always make me gak. I use a "milk shake" capable blender, with ice crushing, so it has the consistency of a thick shake. I typically mix it with water and sometimes with milk. The taste is ok, not good or bad, I hesitate to use the word bland; it can more accurately be described as subtle. No points taken off for this, since it is so subjective, and I have tasted other protein drinks that are terrible tasting. I like the fact that it has only a few ingredients, and does not have "natural and artificial" flavors as most of the other brands. Those brands rarely specify the exact "natural and artificial" flavors, so you never know what you get. To get it to taste better, I add a tablespoon of organic drinking chocolate. This gives it more flavor, and it goes from OK to very good tasting. The big negative is the size and shape of the container. This led to a "get that ugly thing out of my kitchen" reaction, so I was constrained to keeping it in the garage or basement… unless… I decanted it into a more "girly" container. I chose to do this, and found out that there is no way to neatly transfer the powder to another more aesthetic container. The shape of the mouth, combined with the texture of the powder makes neat transfer impossible, even scoop by scoop, since there is always some spillage when taking it out, especially when down towards the bottom. There is no way to get deep down, even turning it on the side, and no way to use a funnel, too cakey. When transferring I used to get the "look at this mess you made" angry stare; I want to say that it is "your" fault for making me transfer the powder, but this would probably not be conducive to my long term happiness, so I wisely keep my mouth shut. This led me to creating my own funnel, shown in the attached photos. I purchased some collapsing, wide mouth funnels from Amazon. I cut a hole in the cover of the protein drink, and glued the funnel on to the cover with food-grade adhesive. This worked well for a few days, until the glue gave out, causing quite a mess. So in iteration 2, I not only glued the funnel, but put a nut and bolt to hold it tight. Now I can transfer the powder without any mess. It has been solid for months now. In conclusion, the only negative is the price and the shape of the container. They now have a smaller container, but the price is a lot more. The positives are an ok tasting product with natural, listed ingredients with no unspecified "natural and artificial" contents. Additionally, it supports small businesses.

Just what you need without the BS!
It’s awesome quality. I lean towards clean products without the fluff and this is it. I know there are other reviews talking about the taste or consistency. I use a blender with some ice, creatine, banana, and almond milk. It tastes great and I love it. You’re using this protein for the benefits whether maintaining/ losing weight, not because it tastes like sweet cocoa pebbles. Great buy and great results.

Solid Protein, Just Not Flavorful Enough
I tried Naked Whey protein in the chocolate and strawberry flavors, and I’ve also used their peanut butter powder. Overall, I really appreciate the clean ingredient list and the fact that everything is pretty straightforward with no unnecessary additives. All three mix well in a shaker bottle, which I always care about, and I didn’t have issues with clumping, grit, or weird texture. There’s also no strong artificial aftertaste, which is something I’m usually sensitive to with protein powders. From a quality and digestibility standpoint, it definitely does what it says it will do. That said, the flavor is where this falls short for me. The chocolate, strawberry, and peanut butter powders are all very mild and honestly pretty bland. If you’re someone who likes subtle flavors or plans to mix protein into smoothies with a lot of other ingredients, this might be a good option. For me, I want a little more flavor without having to doctor it up every time, and this just didn’t deliver that. While I respect the brand’s commitment to clean ingredients and simplicity, the lack of flavor makes it unlikely that I’ll purchase it again. It’s a solid product, just not the right fit for my personal taste preferences.

Does not dissolve , taste is quite below average
Review correction ! I initially hated this product because it takes a little bit more time to dissolve in water, as well as the fact that it has a much less intense taste than the competitive more processed versions of wheat protein so there are no sweeteners and so it tastes a little bit like drinking slightly bitter water. once you get used to the flavour though it’s really quite pleasant you can chug it very quickly because the taste is quite mild and if you’re able to get the water ratios right and make it dissolve by shaking for really a good 20 seconds in my honest opinion it is the nicest way product out there. I initially give this a one star because of how difficult it was getting used to it coming from more processed proteins.

Great quality
Very happy with quality and taste but a bit difficult to shake as it “foams” - will buy again

Excellent
Excellent product. Good taste, good texture, good quality. The fact that contains pure few ingredients makes it very attractive and healthy and all natural in comparison with others.

Good, dissolves, not filled with sugar and sweeteners
Good and no discomfort after drinking. I use a blender and it dissolves entirely and tastes fine. If you want to avoid the products filled with a lot of sweeteners and/or sugars this one is good. The people complaining about the taste are probably used to drinking the overly sweet powders filled with sugar or tons of fake sweeteners and the point of this product is to avoid those. The taste is good and if you put more than 3 seconds of effort in it fully dissolves.
