5 Star Chair Mat Carpet Protection PVC W1150xD1340mm Clear/Transparent

I've had floor mats over carpet for over 10 years, and now I have two. This new one isn't rigid, unlike the older one, and it bends. And being flexible the chair sinks into it even whilst not being used. It certainly protects the carpet, but it still needs a shove to get the chair moving when you're sitting in it, and that's not good. Maybe good value for half the price.

Delivery was very good, packaging very good. The mats themselves are not as rigid as I had before, the chair makes the mats sink overnight therefore leaves a rut that you have to the chair out off. The underneath of the mats are dimpled and move very easily with the chair movements, necessitating repositioning of the mats every couple of days. It would be better if the dimples were replaced with spikes which I had on my previous mats. I shall know in future.

I've used these for a few years now to keep the carpet in doorways from getting soiled and worn. The computer ones like this are perfect as the narrower bit goes right into the doorway and then it widens out to protect the carpet either side. So much better than that awful roll-up plastic stuff with knobbles on the back that floats all over the place.

I bought this to protect my carpet. Given. It has done this for the past two months but I now am experiencing the same as other people on this chain, the protector is now cracking and failing. It seems to me that the product is simply substandard, as I have had these before and they have lasted years. This one, 10 weeks. As I said, not angry, just disappointed.

The mat has only been in use for a short time so that I am not able to comment on wear performance.However, unlike my previous mat which has lasted for years and stays put on the carpet, this "5 Star " product creeps at an alarming rate and constantly needs repositioning.Definitely not my best buy!

Great delivery by this company- protects carpet really well, is starting to split after a year are heavy use, but for the money a good buy

very slippery on hard surface. Should come with self-adhesive non slip pads or something.On Carpet it would be perfect. Pretty tough too. 12 months and it shows no sign of wear.

Great product, works very well on our deep pile carpet.
